Are Kalista/jungle changes affecting teambuilder queus?

so with the release of patch 4.2, a few things have changed. the jungle is arguably harder, and people are trying out . but what does this mean for TB? with the jungle changes, less people might want to jungle. meanwhile, supports won't want to play with a kalista they aren't duoing with because of how trolly her ult can be and the fact that no means yes with the black spear. the result: no one plays support, no one jungles, no one adcs without duoing. which means, unless you start a TB group with a jungler, adc, and support already in the group, you probably won't be able to complete your team any time within the amount of time impatient TB players are willing to wait for team members. sound about right? EDIT: is this even in the right board?

I hate teambuilder, and only play it when there are perks do doing so (new map, summoner icons, etc.). There are other players in the same boat that bailed when the new map went to Normal and Ranked.

Literally everybody who normally didn't played TB bailed out of TB, 1 hour after the map moved to normals and draft and it was ghost town.

I'm in the boat too.

TB was implemented as a response to a very real problem in normals (MID MID MID TOP MID TOP MID I CALLED MID FIRST GG I TROLL).

Unfortunately, Riot also attempted to make TB a safe haven for non-meta players. For instance, you have to pick a champion before the lobby loads because Riot found that testers would accept players and then pressure them to repick a meta champion, but now you have no say over your team composition and pretty much need to dodge if it doesn't look good.

But the biggest problem with TB is that nobody wants to play support or jungle unless they have no other choice. It doesn't help that you can easily pick support in blind pick but you can't pick mid in blind pick unless you're willing to engage in a retarded battle over who typed it first, so mid players are forced into TB instead.

In short, TB doesn't work because the game design is flawed and the game has two roles that are not fun for the majority.

Doesn't sound right. My recent TB experiences have been waiting to find a top laner. Of course, I'm trying out the new jungle, so that would solve any problem with finding a jungler. Supports and adc haven't been an issue though.

maybe it was just the duo i was trying to do. adc and mid. took over 15 minutes and no one would join. then we tried adc and support and junglers would never show up. waiting another 15 minutes and any jungler that did show up left.
