The give and take of Riot,

Why keep on adding different modes then take them away? Why can't we still play URF, Doom-Bots, Ascension, and other modes? A lot of players want to play these modes. I mean it won't take away from the basic Summoner Rift so, why take all these modes away?

They literally deleted all of the community forums for everything that wasn't SR lol

Do you really think they give a shit about players who want to play alternate maps? Even the players of the legitimate maps got the finger.

I mean, their reasoning behind focusing on one map is somewhat reasonable but taking a gigantic shit on everyone who doesn't devote their lives to SR was pretty much unforgivable.

This community is rediculous. Riot said from the start all those maps were going to rotate and be out for a limited time and they've followed that. When riot says they are going to do something the community likes but then they don't, they get crucified. If riot says they will do something that the community doesn't like but they follow through and do it they also get crusified.... got boards beta get some consistency in your complaints.

They actually did a post on this a while back.

"Sometimes it’s better to simply not offer a choice in the first place. For example, having a deep, unified competitive scene on Summoner's Rift - rather than a fragmented one split over multiple maps/modes - better supports our goals of making League of Legends a long-lasting, competitive game with deep potential for skill development. That’s not to say other maps or game modes don’t have interesting things to offer, but there are many benefits (and tradeoffs) for choosing to focus on one"
