Plot twist: Yorick underwent plastuc surgery, now lives in a temple and is known as Illaoi. Also, she's on the cover of Valoran Fair and was voted Woman of the Year for her brave step.

Why must his quote "You will remember Yorick Mori" be so ironic.

Long term (hopefully sometime next year, definitely not early next year) we've got plans for a major Yorick rework. We've got some preliminary thoughts on what that looks like internally, but haven't got enough sorted out to do a bio update for him at the moment.

I haven't seen any Rioters talk about Yorick Evelynn or Elise .

Elise's lore was fine before the retcon so they probably don't have to change much. But I would like to see how she interacts with the inhabitants of the Shadow Isles.

Evelynn, we literally know nothing about her. I'm assuming they're waiting for her VU/rework. Same goes for Yorrick.

He get's his overhaul by the end of next year. -.- It has been said time and again. Plus Yorick was in the lore. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it line in Hecarim's lore.

Riot be like: "Nah man, he isn't included since he's having his rework very soon"

And then, 12 seasons later.....

"They will not remember Yorick Mori" Yorick

Elise is already very fleshed out. She has her own purpose and has a pact with Vilemaw. We already know of her story and what role she plays in delivering souls to the Shadow Isles.

Yorick and Eve are different stories. We know Yorick is only the sideman of the Isles. He's just there for ferrying and burying the bones of the dead. He carries on the family business and might have a motive not yet discovered.

Eve as we know is an assassin. She could be for or against the Shadow Order and may very well have her own agenda to twist the order to do as she needs.

Most likely they intentionally left him out, rather than forgetting him.

EROTIC RAID BOSS10/27/2015, 10:44:43 PM2 votes

They probably don't know exactly what yorick will be like eventually so they're avoiding him

He's not the only shadow isles champ with no role though

Even Riot forgot Yorick Mori

Solideus10/28/2015, 4:22:43 PM2 votes

The "lantern-bearing wretch" in Hecarim's lore was likely Yorick, so he had a cameo at least. ;)

"The vault held many peculiar magical artifacts but no people, until one day when a chained man was dragged into the sunken catacombs. He was a warlock who had infused his body with raw sorcery, which gave him the power to regenerate his flesh, no matter how grievous the wound."

Just a guess for now though...

I thought he was the guy carrying the lantern who guided the ruined king towards what he wanted

Hecarim and his warriors slaughtered the guardians until a lantern-bearing wretch finally led the king to what he sought - the secret to resurrecting his wife.

So is this actually thresh? :_:
