Scaling towers, Texturing the ground, and more! [A Summoner's Rift Update Critique]

Hi all, I'm just going to list some suggestions for Summoner's Rift. Overall, I really enjoy the new map.

  • Scaling towers- By this, I mean: Towers should look more powerful and menacing as you get closer to the nexus. For example, have the turrets look bulkier, give them more adornments, different looking scepters. I think this would be especially useful for newer players to figure out they are getting closer to the base without even having to look at the mini-map, among other things.

  • Texturing the ground- I noticed plenty of runes and stones in the ground. Unfortunately, they just don't pop! It feels like one flat ground when it shouldn't.

  • Summoner's Rift- I bolded Summoner's because I feel this part of the Fields of Justice needs to expanded on. Okay, if there are spectators of these "games" going on in this ancient battle ground, there should be proof of that. You could place floating crystalline eyeballs in the jungle or at the side of the map. You could even have them shout taunting comments randomly (possibly rarely). Maybe even have the announcer or some image reference the Institute of War?

the grass or terrain is not detailed enough for me if you look closely

Most if not all the artifacts just look painted on rather than making them feel stick out. Even some of the roots for some trees.
