Crystal Relay (New custom game mode)
So this is a game mode that i thought of a long time ago that sort of fell into obscurity. I'm attempting to bring it back with slightly different rules.
-Yes, I realize this is similar to Donger Dash. I thought of this game mode long before Donger Dash, and I believe that it is more fun without the 15 minutes of farming and potential trolling.
Just to make things clear, let's label the capture points as A being the top, (drill), and b,c,d,e being the rest, going counter clockwise.

SUMMARY

1 person from each team stands at each point
-
At 2:30, the people at point A start running. Side 1 (left) runs clockwise, and side 2 (right) runs counterclockwise.

While standing on your point, you are a defender. When it is your turn to run, you are a runner. Duh.

Defenders can try and stop the enemy runner at all costs, without stepping foot off the platform
-
The first person to make it back to the capture point earns a point for their team.
*IMMEDIATELY after someone makes it to point A, the people at B begin to run. When they make it back, point c, etc. etc.
- If both runners die, the next point's runners go.
RULES -No fighting with the enemy sharing your point
-No chasing down runners/ MUST STAY ON CAPTURE POINT
-Nobody except the free fighters* can B.
-Runners CANNOT try and kill defenders, but can use cc against them.
-Runners cannot interfere with each other AT ALL, even when they meet at some point during the race.
-Runners cannot go through the jungle. CIRCLE ONLY!
-Runners MUST pass over the capture point.
-After A,B,C,D, and E have all ran, everyone goes b to buy. (Let's call this a "break") at this time, you can opt to switch points. A goes again at a selected time
FREE FIGHTERS
Each team will select a free fighter at the end of each break
Free Fighters will run first, so after the break the selected free fighters will go top.
Free Fighters (after running) can move through the jungle and get the storm shield. They impact the game by being able to try and stop runners at each capture point.
Rules for Free Fighters -No attacking defenders -NO attacking runners unless you are standing on a point. -Free Fighters CAN attack the other Free Fighter while in the jungle -You cannot choose the same person to be a free fighter 2 breaks in a row
Appropriate champs to play
You want to find a mix between a good defender and a good runner, because you'll be doing both.
Bard Thresh Blitz Rammus Sion Nidalee etc.
REMEMBER TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR TURN
How do you win? Get 10 points and the enemy surrenders!
CHAMPION RESTRICTIONS/SPECIAL ABILITIES
Shen cannot ult while running, but can ult a runner to give him a shield. Shen must then take the quickest route back to his point.
Twisted Fate can ult for vision, or get back to his point from spawn quicker, since it can't be used to run, he's a crappy pick.
Nocturne Cannot ult aside from damaging the enemy runner as he passes the point. still a viable pick due to movement speed q and spellshield.
Tahm Kench Can't ult for anything cept getting back to his point
Pantheon cannot ult aside from damaging the enemy runner as he passes the point, or to get back to his point quicker.
Teemo is banned, because shrooms are just too op.
No kalista jumperino on the runner
Kass is banned, because of course.
Shaco is banned
Donger is banned because his turrets would just hit the other defender.
Rek-Sai Can't ult her tunnels except to get back to her point faster.
these rules are for runners. Free Fighters do as they please.
And finally, I hate trolls. So here's a blacklist that I will be updating after every game. Leave a comment if you decide to play and you have a troll in your game.
