Concern on The Game running properly for lower-class Computers

So after examining the changes to summoners rift which in my opinion, are quite nice, I've gotten a bit concerned about how some more lower-ended computers can take it. My main concern is:

  1. Spawning Animations: These spawning animations are pretty cool in my opinion, and are pretty awesome but in reality, what ranked player is gonna go to dragon just to watch it spawn? Also, spawning animations can cause leaps in either ping, or sometimes potentially, crashes because their computer can't handle it, with the rest of everything.

  2. Crumbling towers, Minion animations: Man those towers are so pretty, I just want to hug it...until my game lags...Minions on both the red and blue side have been modified for new looks, animations etc. This requires again, more processing power and graphics. Putting that aside for a moment, their has been some complaints that when a tower blows up, people get either a frozen screen (3-5 seconds about) or serious lag issues. With the new updates, that problem looks like it might jump up some

  3. The Environment: My word, this is so pretty, and the fact that it is being used to fit the environment is also a nice touch...however with more beautiful places come more need for faster, better processing etc.

Overall Feel: Now in most peoples' opinion, its better to just buy more of whatever for their computer rather than rant on about it, however some people don't have the money to pour into their computers. League of Legends was a game where you could play easily graphically wise without having issues which has pleased many people with less-than-very-nice-gaming-computers. However, even if they bring down the quality to the lowest possible on this update, it still may not be very nice. Again, this is mainly due to: Creatures spawning with new animation, minions all having different moves etc, and I could rant on more but you kinda get the idea.

Is their any advice for people on this?

So, it sounds like you didn't do a lot of research here. That's fair. I'll fill you in:

The whole way through this, Riot has assured us that they're testing performance on machines of all sorts. Their goal is for the new map to run just as well as the old one on all computers that can currently play LoL. They've done lots of testing internally, and on the PBE, and they're doing a good job so far. Will they ultimately succeed? Maybe not at first, but they'll continue to optimize it over time. They've made a lot of sacrifices to that map in order to make sure craptops can still run it.
