Twisted - A New Game Mode
So, I was thinking about cool things that we could do for a game mode, and it's quite obvious riot has a lot of things backed up at shop. I was then watching a YouTube video, and someone took a visual to explain something, but SR was tilted on it's side in the image. I then thought to myself, hey, I think I just came up with a fucking awesome game mode!
The Basic Idea Summoner's Rift has been Twisted around by the grasp of Riot's fist. The entire map is now on its side, and will rotate during game play at time markers. The map shifts slowly 90 degrees over a time span of 30 seconds. After each shift, the shift time is reduced by 1 minute. The first shift is at 10:00, the next at 19:00, then at 27:00, then 34:00, 40:00, 45:00, 49:00, 52:00, and then continues to shift every 3 minutes.
In addition to the map shifting, the buffs rotate counter clockwise 90 degrees (basically they switch positions every time). All the other jungle camps do the same thing as well, but with their perspective tiers (basic camps, buffs, dragon and baron).
After all of these switches, the new monsters in the river (forgot the name, correct me and I will just put it in here) roams the entire map. When it is killed, it upgrades each player's trinket to a one time use short range teleport (then is reverted back to regular trinket). The teleport is about 2000 in range (just 500 below half TF's ult range), but there is one catch. When you use the teleport, the location you are teleporting from is revealed. When casting the teleport you are immobile and cannot cancel the channel (makes warding a very important part of the game play - as usual). The channel lasts for 3 seconds. The trinket auto resets after 90 seconds of not being used.
And that is the general idea of what the game would look like. Rotating map, buffs, and buffs for finding the new jungle monster. Please leave opinions in the comments! Hope you enjoy!
