Katarina, the assassin with little lore

I want to know if Katarina is going to have a more lore written. She is an old champ and nothing is much said about her. The sister of Cassiopeia and a dead father that no one knows how he died. There is basic information on her but, nothing of substance. Is riot going to refresh her lore and give her more substance?
