What is Tahm Kench's relation to Darkin?

When Tahm Kench was released, I went on his information page like I always do for the new champ. I noted that he hated nearly every yordle in the game (not filling enough?), but also that he was friends with Aatrox. It got me thinking. Why (or how) would Tahm Kench be friends with Aatrox? I couldn't really think of any reasons for it, so I considered it more, and thus you have this weird theory that I could've honestly put more thought into that I didn't really care about and just wanted to put out there. (Actually I'm doing this for school and just wanted feedback :P)

Could Tahm Kench be a Darkin?

What we know about Darkin (based off Aatrox)

There are five left, four unidentified
They have a bloodlust
They have a long life span and self healing abilities

What I'm proposing

Each Darkin could be based off of a certain feeling (Aatrox:bloodlust/art)
Tahm Kench is a Darkin and his feeling is gluttony

Why do i think each Darkin could be based on a feeling or so? Aatrox is (as I said many times) about bloodlust and art. He wants to spread that, explaining and his appearance in many wars. His stance on art and war is explained by his quote and the grace of his fighting. Tahm Kench could be a Darkin and be based on gluttony, wanting to eat a lot. He does have a self healing ability (though I really don't connect it).

I don't really care about this and just wanted to get it out.

It was confirmed that Tahm is not darkin,he is a demon.

Also we don't know if the other darkins are bloodthirsty and healing abilities.

Well the only really connection we know right now is that demons and darkin are beings that pre-date humanity, and so far that's something that's unique to them as far as sentient beings go as far as we know the lore right now. Both also existed differently before humans, with demons specifically existing differently before humans were around to provide them with sustenance, implying that in that pre-human time demons feasted on something else.

I've wondered about it and whole it's a lot of unsubstantiated head canon right now I like to imagine that in ancient times demons and darkin existed as the dominant beings of Runeterra, with darkin having a vast civilization while demons spent their days feasting on darkin in some way. An event occurred that caused beings like humans, trolls, yordles etc to develop and at the same time the darkin's civilisation collapsed and they became effectively extinct with only a handful of members remaining. With that happening the demons began to starve, and the greatest among them suffered greatly. It was the lesser demons that came out on top as they adjusted for their new environment and grew from the vices of men, allowing demons to thrive in the new world. I'd almost consider it a divide between species where the more powerful demons died out because they couldn't adjust (specialized for a darkin diet) while the lesser demons were able to adapt and survived.

Of course that's all unsubstantiated bollocks right now but I like thinking about things!

Also tahm probably doesn't like yordles because they're essentially diametrically opposed to him; yordles live to bring about happiness and joy and can achieve this with their magic, something tahm as a demon is completely against considering his diet is despair.

Darkins are not Demons, Tahm Kench is a River Demon. Both champions are form different Races.

Riot's said that Aatrox and Tahm are not of the same races, but they're extremely old entities in the world who both enjoy messing with humans, so Tahm has a certain respect for Aatrox.

This is a safe bet

and self healing abilities

We don't know this.

You're assuming Aatrox is a normal Darkin--We have every reason to believe he isn't.

You need to understand that when a second Darkin inevitably shows up, he/she is going to need to fill two different goals:

-Be recognizable as like Aatrox -Be distinctly different from Aatrox

This means Aatrox needs to have at least a few defining qualities that make him different from other Darkin, and the more iconic they are to Aatrox the better. Anything about Aatrox that stands out is just as likely a quality unique to him.

Sounds like ur stretching it alot, but Darkin are supposed to have wings I believe.
