You are done reading, only to be angry that there are questions unanswered in which people (like me) look for solutions online or post on the Boards.

What ever happened to Garen and Katarina? Does Vi have a sister? Does Jinx have a sister? Are Vi and Jinx related? Who is "C" and what is his/her relationship with Caitlyn? Why the hell is Ashe wearing skinny clothing in the middle of a Frozen Wasteland? Where does the ice come from when Ashe pops her ulti?

What if Rito sits here everyday, grabs a bag of popcorn and watches as discussions like this go on?

Overall the problem is that they are in the midst of retconning a lot. As long as some champions didn't receive a proper retcon(for example those who were summoned by the league) they can't use these characters,which in turn means they'd have to leave out these characters,or work around them,which can be difficult if they don't even know what they'll want to do with them.

That's one of the biggest issue with the lore.They have only produce the beginning.Like the 1st episode of a TV or the 1st part of a movie.Sometimes,they don't even get that far,sometimes it's just backstory with no follow,no ACTUAL story.

Whatever was release in the champ bio was all we really get.Which explains why people are mad about 3 sentences Riot are giving champs bio,we now will be getting LESS.You know the opening crawl in Star Wars that's like 3 or 4 paragraphs?It's like replacing all that with "It's the battle of good guys Rebels vs the bad guys Empire IN SPACE."That's the whole god damn trilogy. They're apparently working on full "opening crawls" & the finished full "opening crawls" they can't put up anywhere because of tech issues.This doesn't change the fact it's just the opening crawl,god knows how long we have to wait for the actual FULL movie with a beginning,middle & end.

And for those who maybe confused:I"m using the opening crawl from Star Wars to represent champs lore in client.For most champs,the opening crawl is all we got.Someone pushed pause & didn't continue the movie.The actual movie = the actual stories for the champions.

Now,the lore team seem to be trying to actually do something.Hopefully we get passed the opening crawls & into the movies.

But you see actually telling those stories would limit their ability to create other stories down the road, so it is better just to do nothing. ~Riot lore team

Or it would spoil a possible future champion so we can't say anything, wouldn't want to actually keep a story certain instead of just being able to constantly change an unclear plot ~ Riot lore team

Jokes aside, this is the vibe I have been getting from them. It seems like they don't want to actually add anything meaningful to the story of Runeterra because they havn't figured it out themselves. So instead it seems, they just want to leave everything unclear so that they can change it at any time without having to fuss over details.
