Riot's put itself into a really uncomfortable and easily avoidable situation: They decided to retcon their game's lore without having a plan to quickly, efficiently, and effectively (if at all) deal with lore inconsistencies.

@Riot, I don't think we'll ever get a Rioter response on this, but I'm going to ask just because there is a one in a million chance you may give players an answer.

"Why did you retcon the League of Legends out of existence because it was inhibiting lore, and then continue to produce lore that wouldn't be inhibited by the existence of the League of Legends, but could have actually been enhanced through it's involvment?

More importantly, why did you proceed wit the Retcon without any actual plan in place to deal with champion Retcons. It's been far over a year with Jax and his lore on the website still references the League of Legends. Riot, I'm assuming you didn't have a lore retcon plan in place, because if you did, you've utterly failed both in it's planning and execution based solely on the fact that it isn't finished yet.

Seriously Riot, how long are you going to take with this retcon?

Oh wow, ya I forgot about that. They'll probably just change her Selection quote because honestly, now that everyone hears it in Draft, it makes no sense.

I've decided to just deny the Riot canon and keep the League in mind. I don't get how you retcon your entire game's identity out of existence, but they tried and look where it's got them: holes upon holes in continuity.
