Hextech GLP-800 is actually a great name!

People are complaining about this item's terrible name, but "Hextech GLP-800" is actually a great name for this item because ***engineers suck at naming things. ***

It fits thematically and makes sense from a Watsonian POV.

i just wish it spelled something with the letters like GLF-1C3 or something like that, so we could say 'he's got the ICE thing' which we'll probably do anyway, cuz glp is just wierd and awkward to say, friend of mine is calling it a slurpee machine, cuz it's GLP (gulp) and shoots ice... might just call it the slurpee myself... can we get that in the shop search? ^_^

I actually belive that the item was named and made by Heimerdinger

Conisdering the name of his H-28G (And Q) Turret, CH-2 Electron Storm Grenade and CH-3X Lightning Grenade

Agreed. Acronyms are accurate depictions of an engineer's typical naming strategy.

At first I thought the item was GLP-80 which actually sounds smooth unlike GLP-800.

Rito please take off 1 zero and the item will sound a lot more pleasing.

We could call it "boo"

It might have some reason behind the name through, or is it conformed to make no sense?

I just call it the Hextech Glup. Idk why.

As an engineer, I can confirm this.

Dr Poro5/5/2016, 6:58:22 PM2 votes

I just call it bazooka.

I mean, I personally just call it the Gloop ("GLP," get it?). Easier to say that way, and compensates for the engineer-like name.
