Is the Soraka Story on her universe page Canon?
Got into an argument (still am arguing) with some friends on the RP discord, and it's gotten to the point where they are saying that the soraka story (The one where she's talking to human WW and saves him from death, but it was a ruse for him to betray her) isn't canon because WW update, and I'm telling them it could very well be canon.
if you read the story and WW's lore, there is nothing in either that would seem to conflict. It could very well be that the "events" of WW's lore take place after the soraka story, and there would be no conflicts. This is mostly because WW's lore give very, very little information about him while he was human other than he was a retired mercenary haunted by his past (and couldn't escape it). Raka's story just has WW getting help from her for his dying (and eventually dead) wife, and then him going off to get revenge and raka using force to save him, getting downgraded, then getting betrayed and him running away badly damaged by soraka.
There is no reason to believe that he didn't get captured by singed shortly after for the purposes of the experiments that eventually made him a chimera. Perhaps he went to singed for healing, and singed obviously did what he does and instead experimented on him (maybe he did it thinking it would heal him. using animal DNA to heighten his regenerative capabilities, and actually succeeded though permanently transforming him into an amnesiac werewoof.
I'd like a rioter's opinion on this, but anyone's thoughts would be appreciated.
