Forget the crocs, that q just completely changes what it means to play shen.... Forget free poke and a tool to help you farm when you're already harassed out of lane, you're just simply fucked top lane now. I do not like the q. He's lost his sustain too.... I'm not sure what to feel about this rework.
Plus he has 2 swords and only uses one that bugs the heck out of me .

his q might be gone, but he is HELL to kill, he 2v1'd jhin and a twitch, luckily poison. It just means his Combo is now, e through into q w to trade boom, taunt, enhanced 3 AA and don't take damage from AA's VERY well rounded dualing champ. and his ult just makes him more SAVIOR than ever, shield into w into e q.
Strange but true: a lot of surgeons wear crocs. They're good shoes for a career where you're on your feet all day and tend to get covered in various bodily fluids.
I actually appreciate that detail, having worked in a hospital that's actually what a lot of doctors wear since being on their feet for like twelve hours straight

The AA block could be great against quite a few top laners now that i thing about it...
(not sure about the interaction with his Q) Thats once less AA a Susan will slam down on you, 1 less bleed stack and W, 1 less Q from Garen. And it will help proc the passive shield giving him the ability to fight back for slightly longer. Yes his range is gone on his Q, but he can use his Q to pull the sword making for an excellent skirmish that you can E out of after getting those 3 AA off. I can see his build being a bit different but still offering some nice tanking options although the build in sustain will be severely missed.
Boots. Of course i dont know his new scalings but i would think of a more AD focused offensive build for the front lines
