Jhin lore: What are your theories/thoughts?

So Jhin was finally officially revealed in some recent time (I actually have no idea because I'm not usually caught up on this sort of thing). I saw the official videos of his kit, playstyle, etc. on the League website and I realized that there's not much connection between this guy and our four affected Champions (Zed, Sona, Vi, and Garen) other than that they ended up being in his videos which demonstrate what his abilities are. I know the lore isn't released yet, but I'm wondering how a guy that wields a gun, is a cyborg, and builds attack speed but doesn't actually is related to these four Champions who I'm still having a hard time seeing a connection between them. So, what do you think is the deal with him?, and how do you personally think he is related to the four Champions? (I've also seen a lot of complaints about his kit, even though he was just recently released...gonna have to sift through the stuff to find out what's up with that e.e)

The connection he has to Zed is actually more of an indirect but still personal one, since Jhin's VO implies it was Shen's father who got him incarcerated in the first place, and not only does he resent Zed and Shen for being students of his, Jhin resents Zed for killing Shen's father before he could have a shot at him.

I feel like Jhin might have known Sona before she went to Ionia. He potentially sees her as an artistic rival considering both of them are effectively virtuoso's, and he might find her perspective on beauty to be insulting to his own methods.

He likely doesn't know Garen and Vi personally, but given their status within their homelands I'd say they're potentially known on a global scale to a degree. With that in mind the stories he might have heard about them potentially inspired him, and painted an idea of how he could make art of their deaths in his mind.

Just some musings, could all be bollocks (except the Zed one. I feel like the VO is pretty direct there).
