A quick look at IMDB says he was 'Additional Voices', which doesn't help much but at it might explain why it sounds familiar (played that game enough). But he easily fits the role of Swain and as he's done VG voice work before, it works there too.

You still need the talent to act a role convincingly. Yes anyone can voice act, but only a few are actually good at it.
