Why does it shoot 3 missiles instead of one large one? It really through me off when checking out the skins.

I think it's cooler that way. He doesn't have a rocket launcher like Jinx, but a battery (is this the right term? I also found rocket artillery). These are able to shoot several rockets at once. So if he has the technology to do so, why shouldn't he?
I think it fits the thematic better that way.
