Morde's New Bio and Where He Fits Into the World

According to Mordekaiser's new bio and mentioned in Leblanc's new story, when Mordekaiser was resurrected his soul was bound to his armor and he set off on a second conquest binding the souls of his victims to himself in the afterlife.

My question is, if the cabal who betrayed him (hinted by Leblanc herself to have included her) unbound Morde's soul from his armor that is now sealed away in the Immortal Bastion, does that mean Mordekaiser doesn't actually currently exist physically in Runeterra?

And if that is the case that he's hanging out in the grey afterlife building a realm for himself, is Mordekaiser ingame just a representation of him during his second conquest?

I think he's still in the realm of death. In game that probably means mordekaiser managed to return to the living again. like kayle: we do not know in the lore if she came back from targon, and yet her interactions are as if she had already come back.

He is still in the realm of death, however he is in-game a representation of the future where he returns - it can be gathered from a few quotes, like: "Twice slain, thrice born" - in lore morde was only born twice so far, he needs his third birth. It's possible he will return in his color story, that will come out soon (likely when Morde goes live) or during some future event
