Tbh I really dislike the Zed skin.
Idk i just think it's not visually pleasing, and Zed already has like 3 other bomb-ass skins.

I just have no clue what he is even supposed to be..
His blades look very weird, especially in his idle.
Its an OK skin, just I don't see why its worth the price when it seems to be a downgrade from project and championship (hard to visualize+no VO like in project.)

It's just a very off skin in general. The aesthetics aren't very pleasing overall and the theme is great and all just very poorly executed. The abilities are lack luster and the ult is just hideous. The colors are great, but I think it needs rethinking.
As a zed main with almost 1mil mastery points across multiple accounts I'm a little disappointed in this one.
Except Viktor's all those skins are really underwhelming... wow lets paint Kata hair neon blue and give her swords instead of daggers!
Agreed. I was super excited to see a new Zed skin as i'm a real fan of the character but damn... this skin is disappointment at its finest.
First of all what are those blades and claws? His whole model looks terribly unbalanced. It doesnt look like Zed at first glance honeslty. Next time put a sniper rifle on Jinx and call it a day. They can't simply change so drastically a character identity by taking away important chara design points like his armblades and shurikens. I understand skins are supposed to offer change and surprise from the original one but isn't the champion supposed to stay recognizable ? Here they could have said it was a new champ we would have believed it.
Also. The Q. Damn a shuriken throwing like that, in a straight and swift line.... really doesn't work with swords ! It's so damn crappy. If you really needed to have swords on the model (for a reference I might not know) well... just gave this skin to Shen then. Looks like something that could suit him. And find something better for Zed model. Plus it could have been interesting to have the two giant rivals of LoL as a Harrowing skin duet. Just a small parenthesis.
To go back on this skin. I think the idea was very good in fact. The shadows becoming ghosts.... Zed himself as a sort of ghost... Looks like he's from the shadow isles. What's more to like than the Master of Shadows as a creature from the Shadow isles ? With a tiny bit of special lore behind it be a blast ! But the design was really poorly executed. This skin can totally be improved by really following the ghost theme (instead of the random and boring soulstealer stuff we got over and over recently.... because that's what Death Sworn looks like...) and keeping Zed identity. Give us back the shuriken. Looks really goofy to throw swords like that. And those claws too. They are unfiting as hell.
Like I'll be down for a Halloween Zed skin ! But this could have been so much better... for now this one is lacking. Almost boring. And doesn't look like what Zed is supposed to look. It's almost as if it doesn't suit him when the idea of shadow clone as ghost was good. But damn badly made.
Hope Rito will see all the complain Zed and Kata bring. And fix it. Because for now it gotta be the worst Zed skin ever. Why buy this when you can have the beautiful Championship. Kata and Zed are really below what we could expect from a 2017 quality from Riot Games. And totally not worth these 1350RP.

Looks like Zed stole Shen's vorpal blades.
The Kat same skin is the same too, they just look subpar when compared to the more refined skins they currently have.
Sad that this isn't a Dark Star skin. Zed seems to be, if not, IS the perfect candidate for a DS skin. I'm not a Zed player nor do I want to bother learning him, but a missed opportunity is something that always pains me.

All of the animations for the skin except for reactivating his W to switch with your shadow look really bad. The skin itself looks really rushed and uninspired too, especially the legs and the shurikens on his back. Worst skin I've seen Riot release in a long time (and this is coming from a Zed main). Not even SKT T1 Zed is this bad.

I dont play zed but in my opinion, I think the skin is pretty cool. I rly enjoy the blue particals and his claw. The way he attacks feels like he is a real zombie/beast of some sort. kinda cool

I think there is a difference between not being liked on a matter of personnal preference and just be below quality overall. These new skins are so below quality and lacking, its almost unprofessionnal on Riot side. Here, they are not hated because we don't like the theme/think they don't fit only. They are also hated because they are low quality and definitely not worth the price. If it was just a matter of personnal preference, there wouldn't be so much threads everywhere about them. Those skins are rushed, they are just not correct and definitely not worth selling (or at least not worth the 1350 RP) If it was a matter of personnal preference only, we could just not buy it and save money for something else and it wouldn't be a problem. Here the problem is that they are low quality, ugly and unfitting to an Halloween theme. It's way below the players expectation and Riot standard even. This is why i believe it is important to show our discontent. There is potential to make them way better. There could be really great... If they were worked on. It's probably because we care about these skins and believe they could be better that we want an upgrade on them. If it was just about not liking it, coul d just as well not buy it. If we complain that much, to begin with, i guess nobody here who don't like them would even buy it. But instead of letting this go live and then go completely forgotten, wouldn't it be nicer to try rework them to the players hopes and give them a second chance as something more pleasant and fitting to Riot actual standards? It's pretty much confirmed by now that these skins are going to be a massive flop, so wouldn't they try to make them better at this point ?

Discount Shredder. Overall looks like a 4/10 skin to me.

Zed has elements from Kalista. The spectral body and the daggers in the back. The effects are ok, but the skin isnt wowing me. It's propably the colors that put me off a bit. I think it might be a little too bright on the upper body.
Kata...yea I dont like this skin at all. It's basically just her with green hair and grey pants.
For harrowing skins I expected a bit more fun or clear themes in the skins. They are somewhat spooky but might as well be Shadow Isle skins. They dont particularly read as ghost skins either. Victor might do for a skeletal warlock though.
The only complaint i have is his helmet but other than that i think it's amazing.
I love that he throws Daggers instead of Shurikens, it adds some variety to his skins. kinda ironic shen used to be the sword throwing guy (rip Vorpal blade).
The main reason i love it is because he's using Claws instead of dagger gloves, Claws are one of my favourite weapon types.
I just realized these are supposted to be the Harrowing skins...i think? If so, they're not scary at all and the VFX looks really off on these champions. They don't look to be emphasizing spookyness at all.

I disagree, I LOVE this skin, it's my favorite one for Zed. His claws in particular look amazing, and the effects are really cool and spooky.
I got project in hextech, gonna disenchant cause this skin is hype AF.
All they gotta do is fix the Q animations and I think the W animation a bit. Skin is so sick :D

Frankly all of these halloween skins look like shit. Kat's is SO fucking shit and boring. Would of been so cool to see a ghost or demon katarina. Nope. Gotta have a chick in tights with her tits out. Riot's creativity knows no bounds.
