I know the player base knows it, and Riot probably does too. Can Riot please just revamp the whole thing? Some ideas:
Sell them for ip Sell them individually Awards for rank 5 mastery, maybe even rank 6/7
I know the playerbase REALLY wanted chromas, but what you gave us was far from what we wanted lol.
Well the dissonance here has always been the following:
Either way I bought the Koi Nami chroma so I know for a fact at least one chroma was sold.
It was voted on in a survey to be RP, so there's that :P
Besides, a recent survey that was sent out had their next idea which is for Ink bottles to be sold in RP & IP and you can then color the champs the way you want.
I personally bought a few of the chromas and think they were well done.
Then again bots have chroma skins :o
So I'd say not a failure*[slayer-jinx-wink]*
They did stop productions, so they did see that they weren't doing well.
Chromas might not be the most beloved thing,but they also have their fans(I've seen already multiple threads about asking for more chromas). I mean overall chromas are meant to be cheap skins for those that want some skins,but don't want to pay that much money for them.
Also it is not like they can't add additional chromas for champion mastery(you know,like you can buy the blue/red/yellow-lucian chroma but earn a few additional ones)
I bought Caitlyn, Morgana and Pool Party Leona Chromas. I'll probably get the Rocket Girl Tristana Chroma after Rocket Girl goes on sale (probably February but that's just a skin sale prediction chart). Since Riot doesn't appear to be making any 520 skins these days, I kind of hoped Chromas would be the new thing for the lowest tier.
