League's meaning in lore doesnt work anymore ;o

A place peopel go to have their dreams granted (kat was looking for her dad, draven wanted more glory, etc.)

That just doesnt work anymore.

Why would a celestial dragon god, who can create stars and destroy them on a whim, need to partake in a contest of power like the League?

There is literally nothing they could do that he couldnt imho. :|

I mean the dragon is HUGE, what reason would he need to shrink down to a mortals size? unless it is a masochist :|

Actually Aurelion Sol seems like a character who would make a lot of sense in the old lore,because his lore mentions how he was stripped of his godly power and is now used as a weapon by others. He is searching for a way to undo this,which could have easily justified his reasons for joining the league(or the people who use him as a weapon could have just forced him to do it)

The league stopped existing a while ago. Riot developers felt like having to link every champion to the league limited what new champions could be made.
