I have had an itch that hasn't been scartched outside of the Pentakill songs that are based around items in the game which are very good but just don't cut it since they are just that - songs.

So I've been asking myself why is it that you haven't made any tales/legends surrounding the legendary artifacts of such power and destruction that inhabit your game? I refuse to believe that you don't have any stories surrounding them that you just haven't deemed worthy to be released.

So here I am asking: Will we ever get lore about the in-game items?

I agree! They should make short lore connected to certain artifacts like the ,,remnant of the watchers", ,,iceborn gauntlet" ,Liandrys torment etc etc.

My conclusion is because game-mechanics is meant to be an exclusive department focused entirely to its own relevant content. Same goes for lore too. I dont think either side particularly benefit from a potential collaboration.

OP you also have to understand, the writers for League's lore were not involved with Pentakill's song writing. The lyrics aren't intended to hold weight within the primary lore as much as I'm sure the devs working on PK drawed a bit of their inspiration from the lore.

Even the artists for game-play related things (like item icons and rune page art) are seperate from the artist who're heavily involved with World Building/lore.

I say if you want to understand item's "lore" and do some theory-crafting about them, then go ahead. It's just not a discusion that will ever have conclusive answers to.

I noticed that Warmog's Armor actually has lore right now. But I do not know what other items have lore too... can a Rioter tell us some of those other items who have lore currently as well?
