Strongest Champion in terms of lore.

Seen a few posts like this before. I suppose we could use an update since its almost 2016. Lets face it, Riot has officially created the strongest champion by lore, period. It's Kindred. Because Kindred is death, literally. You can't beat death! Expect for a few Shadow Isle champs that evaded her, the rest of our lovely champions have to die by Kindred's hand (hooves/paws) eventually. I think that makes sense.

But that's boring D:

And lore-wise it only kills that which time has come. It doesn't have a Will I think, but it doesn't matter.

A better, badly posed question by me is: "Who's the strongest whose description does not involve immortality, omniscient or any other unreachable virtue?" c::

Gragas - In Gragas's lore- "Gragas is so fucking OP in the universe that when they brought him to the league of legends they nerfed his AP Ratios by 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000%"

So pretty sure hes the strongest.

100% confirmation that is his real lore that Riot wrote and not me confirmed........ Kappa

They arent the "Strongest", they can kill anything (Except Zilean), but it doesnt means that they have physical strength

A strong creature has the "power to move heavy weights or perform other physically demanding tasks"... killing people doesnt means that you are strong, an insect can kill a human with a bite and it doesnt means that the insect is "strongest".

Sure, they are one of the most powerfull champions, but not by physical strength.

The "Strongest" would be a champion like Chogath Renekton RekSai Zac Malphite Braum who have physical strenght.

The thing is: If all things must die eventually, then that would also imply that kindred dies one day,the question is how that would affect the world(or would another spirit simply take their place?)

Also Kindred seems to be bound to lots of restrictions,so it is questionable how powerful they(kindred consists of the wolf and the lamb, not just one of them) really are.

Kindred can't kill when they want '' everyone '', they just harvest the souls, they can't do '' pff I'm bored Lamb, let's kill Karthus '' thing. They probably has the weakest duel power in the most powerful champions. They're strong, but without doubt they're not the most powerful.

I still stand by the idea that Bard is the strongest champion. Kindred is s native spirit of Runeterra. Kindred is more of a grim reaper than death itself. As we have seen, Kindred isn't omnipotant since several champs have "defeated" death. I also recall Jaredan or Ant in Oz stating that Kindred too has its "end".

If Kindred was really a cosmic force of death the Shadow Isles would not exist. Yet they can only helplessly shake their fists in buttanger at the undead dickheads walking around being undead. Furthermore, they apparently can't take someone's life until it is their time. Kindred is arguably one of the weakest champions, because they lack any real freedom of action (which is why the concept of the champion is frankly stupid, how can one fight something that doesn't actually take any action until you die?).

No, Kindred is weaker than the undead forces of the Shadow Isles, and is certainly weaker than Mordekaiser, who is so powerful that he exists apart from the Black Mist. She's probably not really a cosmic force of death. She's as Illaoi calls her, just a spirit.

Xerath is probably the most powerful champion.

Kindred is death itself.

Bard it was even stated in the Q&A that the bard we see is just a body the being created to interact with the world of runeterra, and the reason that he make shorn noises instead of talking is that his celestial language is so complex we cant understand. this is what i recall from the Q&A so i believe hes the most powerful champion lore wise.

Veraska11/22/2015, 9:38:00 PM1 votes

I would have to say Bard, since you know he's essentially god

skyfall61911/22/2015, 10:38:22 PM1 votes

u gotta limit these type of discussions b/c it will always be the gods and the ascended. but other then those i would say Ekko Ryze Veigar Anivia (would anivia be a demi-god?)

While Jax's lore remains untouched, he is still canonically the most powerful champion in League of Legends lore wise. Death personified might roam the Rift, but give Jax an actual weapon and he'll still mop the floor with anyone, and even without he's still a superior opponent. Supporting quotes from his lore are as follows:

"Jax proved himself to be an immediate terror in the Fields of Justice. The self-proclaimed 'Armsmaster of the League' rattled off a streak of consecutive wins that to this day has not been matched."

"His Judgment was the quickest in League history, where the Doors of Acceptance glowed and slowly swung open as soon as it began. Jax faced no recorded Observation or Reflection during his Judgment."

"High Councilor Heyward Relivash, created special restrictions for Jax to fight under. This was something the League had never done before, and something that has never been done since.

"Neither the League's sanctions nor his own has affected his winning ways."

Jax is the unstoppable warrior in lore. He's made his mark which no other champion has been able to surpass. Until that lore gets reworked, no matter what another champion can do, in the lore, Jax can and has beaten them consistently enough to be one of the highest praised champions on the Fields of Justice.

Ascended beings are Immortal (by age) so are undeads, they can be killed though but still, finding something able to actually kill Xerath (expecially if his seal is weakening). Then we have a champion Mordekaiser that is still able to resuscitate even if killed, dismantling his skeleton can avoid it, yet if not even the old SI inhabitants were able to destroy it and Morde making things sure that no one finds out about it (Not even Bard may know about it) I don't see him being stopped anytime soon.

Both of them have the potential to be the most powerful beings.

Malphite is a rock, Kayle and Morgana could be immortal creatures of legend, Cho'Gath and the other void creatures could just grow more powerful with time rather than ever declining into the weakness of old age, Aatrox is a darkin that's lived for thousands of years and influenced wars, Sion is undead, the list goes on. Kindred just walked into the one place where all the creatures that defy death come to punch each other in the face and play pretend.
