which ships/ rivalries/ friendships need to be clarified for noxian and Demacian lore update

http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/0/04/Demacia_Crest.png/revision/latest?cb=20161117052357 and http://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/leagueoflegends/images/e/e9/Noxus_Crest.png/revision/latest?cb=20161117055949 are two of the most powerful countries in runeterra with a lot of interacting champions. thus when the lore update comes many champions lore and short stories will be edited and written as well as how the link with each other. Here is a list of all links between demacian and noxian champions that to ME need clarification or depth and some that are just a bit of wishful thinking

Currently in lore(that I want to touch on)

1.Garen❤️Katarina: one of the oldest and most popular ships, is that between garen an katarina. What I'm hoping to see in their regions updated lore is whether or not the relationship has been there or are they just fighting the attraction. Either way theirs will be a romance that rocks their nations 2.Talon⚡️Quinn: if you look at both their current lores the link I'm finding in their rivalry is something along the lines of siblings separated by childhood, reunited on opposite sides of rival nations. it would link into both their backgrounds as orphans and would explain talons amnesia of his childhood 3.JarvanIV 🤝Shyvana: a typical life-dept friendship/ bodyguard and charge friendship which to some could lead to more. Now there have been some fans who have speculated a possible love match between the prince and his fiery bodyguard but I'm inclined to think it a highly speculated romance. Both their professionalism and stands to duty will put doubts on it but their closeness and overfamiliarity will cause people to wonder both in lore and players 4.Swain🤝Darius: the reason I added this is that although it makes sense for tough as steel Darius to support the cunning and mysterious swain to lead noxus, I sense a more sinister reason behind the hand of noxus's support which could tie in the hidden agenda of the black rose( that is if it's still called that) 5.Garen⚡️Urgot: if riot were to give us a vgu to reintroduce a noxus , urgot is most likey to be the one. The fatal fight between him and garen, urgots restoration and the eventual revenge fight is an interesting contrast to Lucian ⚡️Thresh 6.Vayne⚡️Leblanc: whether or not Leblanc was the one that killed vaynes parents has yet to be seen but may more give reason for vayne to investigate the plans of the black rose and uncover their plans. Also she has a rivalry with Vladimir so there's another reason to look into the black rose 7.Lux⚡️Fiora : this is a interesting case of feminist vs loyalist Fiora looks down at lux as a woman that allowed herself to subjected to the constraints and expectations on a woman that fiora aovoided. And lux views herself as one that does all she can for the good of her country. Another possible link between the two is that luxs family( and by extension garen as a possible former fiancé ) may have been the one that fiora shamed which resulted in a number of events that made fiora who she is now.

Wishful/ possible Here are some of found in forums and fanfics that I found funny or interesting

Kled⚡️Poppy: as both are the founders of these two nations, I would find a confrontation between these two to be hilarious and would give a representation as of key mindsets of Demacia and noxus, also what needs to change in order for the countries to move forward Lux❤️Talon: there is much evidence of a pairing between lux and ezrael but there are some who would find this pairing more interesting as it would not only give a case of opposites attract but also give another case of star-crossed lovers who are also related to the other star crossed lovers. Lucian⚡️Fiora: read this once on a comment on reddit on how it would be funny confrontation between Demacia two most snarkiest champions and how they would interact. Possible links that have come up between the two are: both served their compulsory military time together, minor vs major families , or (former)bright humble marksmen meets arrogant confident swordswoman. Whatever the reason I've been waiting for a sword to a gun fight taunt since PROJECT

So first off, while Noxus may be the largest empire in modern Runeterra, Demacia is much smaller and insular. Not really equivalent to the title of strongest nation so to speak.

Second, Kled and Poppy didn't found a hit. They've been members of these nations for just about as long as the nations themselves gave existed, but they weren'the integral to their origins; Poppy knew Orlon, the guy (or one of the guys) who founded Demacia, and Kled began fighting for Noxus in its early days.

I'm not seeing anything about Sion here. How can you ignore Sion when talking about Noxus as a whole?

What about JarvanIV vs Swain . There are many mysterious things left from Kalamanda Incident.

Honestly, I would be really disappointed if they choose Urgot as spearhead of Noxus relaunch while Swain who is the true face of Noxus still be there waiting for his VGU as him.

I don't know why people link J4 and Shyvana, there is nothing "fascinating" about that relationship besides a bodyguard and her superior officer. So what if J4 saved Shyvana and helped her killing a dragon? So what? What's the big deal? Does that automatically mean they are in love? So If I help a woman in real life or save her life, does that mean I am in love with her? Or did I do it because it was the right thing to do at that time? How can people assume J4 helped Shyvana because he was in "love" with her? This is BOGUS. That said, there is nothing in the lore that even hints or speaks about Shyvana X J4. Show me the proof where it says they are in a relationship. They don't even have ingame interactions let alone emotes to hint a relationship. Quinn has more emotes hinting a relationship with J4 than Shyvana does IMO. Because she actually has ingame emotes.

I agree with the person who said J4 and Swain would be a better theme to explore. Leaders of both rival city-states would be a way better topic to read than a phony baseless fan-created ship.

You forgot the friendship between Galio and Poppy that seems to have been thrown into the wind with Poppy's rework and the deviation from her original origin story that Galio took inspiration from.
