I was hoping to see him this year with Piltover/Zaun event :/

Nope, but his update should be coming sometime in January or February since it was said that his rework will come after the next champ is released. We now know that next champ is Cami.
They said already that there'd be a new champion before Warwick,so the moment we knew that there is no new champ in the elementalist lux-patch it was clear that WW is not gonna make it this year(hopefully he'll come out in january 2017)
And well the next champion is a Piltover champ,so who is to say that they don't do a Piltover/Zaun-update with her release?(or they update piltover with her release and Zaun with Warwicks)
The new champ will come around 5~ December if the patch cycle continues as allways.
There is still a possibility that Warwick comes before the year ends. If not, probably early January.
I'm seeing a LOT of people claiming on a lot of threads that he will be out in Jan-Feb. I'm following his rework news by every rioter every day, and they never mentioned February. Only late December ~ Early Jan.
