Hey Reav3, I would like you to answer these questions that i've been curious about lately.

  1. Is there a team at Riot that only makes Legendary skins and how long does it take to make one.
  2. Is the "five teams that can do either new champions or VGUs, depending on what we feel makes the most sense for that point in time" plan for the next year?
  3. Can we expect champ up dev blog this month?

Thanks!

  1. No
  2. Yes you should start to see that go into effect next year.
  3. My next blog should be shortly after Urgots VGU reveal.

1: This is a question for @RiotKateyKhaos, she is the head of the skin team, Reav3 is just the head of champion design 2: I think they will happen after Evelyn gets her rework 3: Yeah, Reav3 already mentioned that there will be a Blog after Urgot rework and when we follow all predictions, Urgot will get revealed end of July and the Blog will come in August

I have a question for you Mister Reav3 ! Im working on a concept (unique concept that we never see so far) for a champion, a freljordian dwarf. The thing I want to know is: is there room for dwarves in the vast universe of Runeterra ? I love the idea of some dwarves holds in the Ironspike Mountains with a bit of isolationist mentality ! Im working around more on the design of the champion, his backstory, his characterization, the lore of the dwarves and the main essence around his kit (not all the abilities). ^^

Thank you in advance and I sincerly want to underline your awesome work with the community, I do speak for myself but I think its a common opinion, we are all grateul for the time you take in the dev blog and the answrs you give to us in the Boards.

Leave Akali the way she is, this will not be a popular opinion but she is fine in her current state. If played properly, she is able to go even or come out ahead in the majority of mid lanes, with certain exceptions to the top lane. Reworking her as a VGU will only cause more permanent bans targeting her. While previously she had an easy time snowballing with high reward and low risk, the rework made it more reasonable to play against her rather than having everybody utilize her overpowered state.
