Did Aatrox just doom the universe?

Since the aspect of war is gone courtesy of Aatrox, does that mean that now there will be nobody to control Asol and hold back the void? We know that the aspect of war helped keep the void at bay for Targon using his pet aka Asol but now that he is gone or dead or not dead and just taking a vacation does that mean that Targon lost a key asset in their war vs the Void?

No because we don't know that the original Pantheon was the sole controller of Aurelion Sol. It could be the explanation for why Sol feels his chains weakening, but there is no reason to suspect OG pantheon's death = A Sol's freedom. All we know is the Pantheon's magic was part of the original trap. Which may have been reignited by new Pantheon.

Additionally, Aurelion Sol hates the Void and would probably do his best to stop it even after he is free.

The good new is basically everyone hates the Void. Aurelion justifiably loathes the Aspects, but he's a big fan of existing so he'd probably fight the Void even without the Aspects. Self-preservation and all that.

The only issue with Aurelion being slightly less enslaved is he's one step closer to glorious, bloody vengeance that might have some tragic collateral damage.
