Nautilus My post made about what they could add to Nautilus lore yesterday got A LOT more response then I had expected. This discussion will be about some theories that me and some other people have thought up of. I will split this up into 2 theory 'groups'. One being how he got changed and what he was changed by, and the second being some of the people possibly on his crew at the time. Lets get started.

How He Might've changed

Theory 1: The Darkin Theory, Thought up of by Prescottio & Tattersail. This theory is based off Aatrox's lore, more specifically his race, the Darkins. In his lore it states that their are 4 other Darkins. Having no idea who or what these Darkins are, it is belived that is could be one of the Darkins that lead Nautilus into the depths to be changed forever.(Kinda like how Aatrox gave Tryndamere power)

Theory 2: The Black Mist Theory, Thought up by GreenLore This second theory comes from the Shadows Isles, focusing on the Black Mist that bellows off the Shadow Isles, almost like a kind of fog. Now I know some of you might be thinking "Oh but the Shadow Isles has been charted!", which is what I thought too, but then GreenLore pointed out that we dont know when this event happened.
He stated "And well we don't know when this incident happened. It could have happened hundreds of years ago before they had any idea where the shadow isles are located."

Who could've been on his crew

Theory 1: The Fizz and Nami theory, thought by Votchill (me) This theory is why I believe in the Nautilus wiki page, why he is rivals with Nami and Fizz. I believe that Nami and Fizz could of both been on that ship that Nautilus was yanked from. They could've been the ones that wrenched the hands of Nautilus off the side of the ship and left him to die.

Conclusion all of these theories are excellent and all could be very well true and hopefully one or two of these, will be added to the lore of our great titan freind Nautilus.

Here's something: What if there never was a real Nautilus? What if whatever inhabits the diving suit just thinks it used to be a human.

So, I've been thinking about Nautilus, and the only things I could come up with were these:

This next part is not directly supported by the lore in almost any way, and it adds almost nothing in the spirit of speculation. You have been warned. It's completely possible that all of Nautilus's memories are false. We don't actually know if he was one human at all.

Next is this: In Nami's lore, she's this chosen one who has to retrieve this artifact, then go to the surface and exchange it for a more important artifact called a moonstone. The person who has the moonstone is supposed to be a chose "landwalker." Nami and Naut are rivals, so it's possible that Naut was the chosen landwalker, but because of his transformation, loss of memory, or some other excuse, he doesn't have the moonstone. After this, it's possible that the being that transformed Nautilus was an enemy of Nami's people. You know, I'm kind of grasping at straws here.
