How to Give Both Demacia and Noxus Shades of Gray

Give them both a visual update. When you give people the choice between an aesthetic of "Black and Red with Spikes and Skulls" and an aesthetic of "Blue and Gold with Wings and Curvy Lines", whether they read the lore or not, I can tell you who 98% of the populace will identify as "evil" and who they will identify as "good".

The surface image is actually what needs to stay. Visuals make for first impressions, but not for any white or black.

Don't judge a book by its cover.

That sounds like a horrible idea. The charming point about a grey noxus would be that they are visually the typical bad guys, while still being morally rather grey(the same pretty much would work with demacia, just the other way around)

I can tell you that, even before the new Fiora lore, I found Noxus to be actually decently morally good. Sure, they have some weird war ethics, but respecting power of individuals in all forms isn't that bad.
