i think this is pretty much selfexplanatory. i dont know who is working on these class skin art but i sincerely hope that he can stop making them in future. buy skins to avoid all the horrible new default splash art. however the sad part is we can do nothing about the icons.

I really don't have a problem with the splash art in this game. I love the amount of motion depicted in the images, considering how much of this game is about action and movement. Sometimes the hyper-sexualazation can be a bit much, but I more or less just joke about it. Sex sells. And this is a fantasy game. I think there is a fair amount of charm in to these images, and beauty. The coloring is fantastic and evocative. Change, people just can't handle it.

THAT KATARINA LEG THOUGH!

I hate the Kayle, Ezreal & Alistar splash arts.

They are drawn well but they dont fit in with the other ones.

Keep in mind that they're changing the older splash art skins too. They're just focusing on the originals first.

Lux is the exact same situation. You have to buy the Sorceress skin to get that godly fake smile.

Probably not a good example for a Katarina custom splash art, but I still see your point. I do think it would be a great move on their part to implement custom champion icons based on the skin, but also to make it a toggle in options to see the default icon anyway, in case it's hard for new players to tell the difference.

Yeah, it's funny how I prefer her default skin, but have to admit that her splash art is pretty bad. Interestingly enough, I just realized during the Nemesis event that Spellthief Lux doesn't look anything like her splash art(and in case you're wondering, I think the skin looks better than I expected).

I do think Ahri is an exception to the thread title, I really like her new default splash art a lot! I'm not sure why others don't. It actually to me looks even better or at least rivals the other splashes for her.
