as a Kat lover.. I am really disappointed with the splash art. I dont think it possesses any of Kat's personality at all. sorry for my language but i just have to express my disappointment with art.

  • the pose is very awkard, i dont know why there is so much emphasis on her gigantic hand and blade ?!!!!!!
  • theres sooo many nice fan art of katarina and then theres this weird art representing her -what is going on with her right thigh ?? -her face. is horrifying. thank god i will never use her default skin anymore. LOOK at her lunar skin art and mercenary and others! !! thats the definition of sexy and deadly. -she looks like a masculine in the splash art?! where is the combination of sexy,elegant,evil, cunning and deadly female assassin.? she now looks like a crazy muscular woman running out of a mental hospital with knifes and trying to kill you.
  • why does she appears to be shunpoing in mid air and yet its red? any skills related reference ?
  • why is background so unclear? can the artist improve the theme a bit? what is actually going on in there?
  • really really sad with this splash art.. there could be so many ways to represent her but this is really - shockingly weird. heartbroken.

  • why warring kingdom kat is so good:
  • it does not have this crazy pose and exaggerated emphasis on her arm and thigh.
  • dramatic scene in the background
  • beautiful and at least more natural face, nice expression
  • you can actually know what she is doing and you can SEE that it displays her agility and the speed with elegance.

"thats the definition of sexy and deadly." There's your problem. Katarina isn't SUPPOSED to be "sexy" and deadly, just deadly. It even says in the lore, Cassiopeia was originally the attractive daughter before she became a snake. Even with that said, I don't understand why you think she looks bad in this? I honestly think you're just complaining for the sake of complaining. It looks fine to me. In fact, I think it BETTER represents her personality. Kat is someone who tends to recklessly charge into combat in a blur of daggers. You can clearly tell from the art that you presented (Which I presume is the new splash art) that she's moving pretty fast, and likely in the middle of shunpo-ing. So they are obviously placing emphasis on the one thing Katarina is designed around: Speed. Fast kills, fast resets, fast combos, high mobility. Just because they don't change it the way you want it doesn't make it wrong.

Got to say I got no love for the new art. I don't mid trying a more dynamic pose, but It don't really work for me with exaggerated proportions to force perspective. The biggest problem I have IS HER HORSE FACE! It's a bit elongated in the new waring kingdoms splash, but it's really pronounced here. This is just NOT good. All her previous slash art has her with more of a heart shaped face (though she is more round in the classic splash). Please don't give her such a long face.
