Small Riven theory

This is an idea i've had on my mind for a while now. While playing riven a fair bit, I've noticed something. Check out her lore if you don't know what I mean, but heres the theory. When riven uses her "valor"/shield, she dashes in target location but also seems to be covering her face, more so her mouth. Does this reflect her lore of surviving singed's gas bombing on her squad? It makes sense that she survived and the ability in game is her covering her mouth and nose.
