I was just thinking about if it would've been hard for Lucian to work alone after he and his wife were a team for so long, and I was thinking of if there was anyone he could partner up with. Then I realized that he and Vayne basically have the same job. Would they work together, or are they both too lone wolf-ish now? Would Lucian feel like he's replacing his wife? You want a League movie? Well there's your plot right there. BOOM!

Sneak Dog1 votesWhy? Vayne is hunting black magics and Lucian is hunting the living dead. Lucian doesn't particularly care about Veigar while Vayne would have a giant showdown with him (I like how Vayne is pretty much yet another side of Demacia, that is one neat judgement).
Serpent XI1 votesWell you usually find those two things together in the same place, like with Karthus, and that means they're both wells of information about their specific lines of work. so if they teamed up to fight either of the two or both they could communicate how to win.
Sneak Dog1 votesLucian has to go to the Shadow Isles while Vayne has nothing to search for there. Their targets are extremely different and only undead necromancers are the overlap. Vayne has no specific quarrel with Hecarim just like Lucian has no specific problems with Vladimir.
They could team up for a specific hunt, but not in general. There's more champions she could team up with for a specific target.
GreenLore1 votesWell I'd actually say that necromancy itself is a form of dark magic,which would basically make all of the SI dudes products of dark magic,so I doubt Vayne has nothing against the SI-inhabitants(especially since it seems to be in the nature of the undead to hate life itself)
Also while Lucian seems to concentrate on undead right now,his lore simply says that he and senna used to fight the "evil" in runeterra and that would also include others aside from the SI-inhabitants(in fact it basically says that before the undead of the SI started to invade valoran,that they've been hunting other stuff).
Sneak Dog1 votesWe have no clue how the Shadow Isles fell. They might just be the product of making death and live one. With the new lore they also seem to keep to themselves safe for once per year.
Also, Vayne is still a proper Demacian (just a bit less lawful than most), she'd kill generic evil if she'd meet it I'm sure. Same with Lucian. They go track their own specific prey though.
I'm not saying they wouldn't ever team up. I'm saying they wouldn't be a permanent team. Heck, considering Lucian is Demacian, he might even disapprove of Vaynes methods.

I see it like this, If vayne ever considered forming some affiliation with Lucian, She would have to get the same type of weapon Lucian has.(Which i believe would be pretty difficult) The stone Lucian carved his gun IS in Demacia, but idk if Vayne can wield the same weapon Lucian can. Have to be Pure of Heart, and Vayne looks like she have anger issues.
Vice Versa for Lucian, butim sure silver isnt that hard to get. Either way they both would want to work alone, Especially since Senna is dead(or undead) And Lucian at some point would feel like she is replacing her.
-But Lucian...."Keep moving on" (lol) They would make a nice duo, but it will never be.
