Why with the tights on Heartseeker Quinn?

Before you say it: Yes I saw the reasoning Katey gave. But here's the thing, I don't agree. Not that anyone asked for this, but here are my issues with these changes and the various reasonings surrounding them. If you don't wanna read all this, skip to the bottom where I state my main point.

  • It's not consistent with the rest of the Heartseekers (not counting Orianna). Both Vayne and Ashe proudly display their, er, sexier features, it can't suddenly not be okay for Quinn.
  • Quinn's battle posture is not a good excuse for the tights when you clearly still need to be on the ground to see you-know-where, especially considering how she's crouching all the time. Vayne takes a similar posture when holding her Q and during her dance and such, should she also cover up? Not to mention Vayne tumbles and rolls a lot more.
  • Saying this skin is in any way out of character because Quinn isn't a "girly girl" doesn't make sense because, as mentioned, Vayne exists in the same skin line. Besides Vayne's Heartseeker skin existing, skins are fun because they don't necessarily have to be "in character." Lighten up, people.
  • The tights look silly. This is a purely subjective point but now she just looks like she's wearing purple pants with some ribbons randomly strapped to her thighs. Considering Riot probably won't drop them now that they're there since Riot often enough doesn't seem to listen to feedback beyond the first wave of it (more on that in the next point), they should at least be a different color, maybe white or something.
  • SO FAR, They're only taking into account initial complaints and feedback. Naturally a lot of these are criticisms because people who actually liked it before would've likely justed move on without leaving a comment. It's only now that the initial criticisms have been taken into account and changes made that we'll see people pop up in support of the old version because only now do we have something to complain about.

A point I can't stress enough though is the point about fitting her character.

If all skins ever did was fit a character's character, we would have a lot less of the skins we currently love and enjoy. Why would Udyr ever dress up like a giant chicken? Why would Nasus be a hellhound with a sick boombox? How would anyone get Gnar to hold still long enough to squeeze into Luchador spandex? How did adorable little Teemo become the actual devil? Did Shyvana forget that dragons breathe fire? Star Guardian Jinx.

THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO REASON QUINN CAN'T DRESS LIKE SHE DID IN THE ORIGINAL VERSION OF THIS SKIN. If you ask me, a bad-ass tomboy (a sentiment I've seen thrown around regarding this issue) like Quinn wouldn't care if you occasionally see her panties while she's kicking off your chest, blinding you with her bird, and riddling you with arrows. Just because she usually dresses conservatively, it does not mean she MUST ALWAYS dress like that. How would you like it if someone told you can only dress in one way and never deviate from that style?

Dressing skimpy once in a while does not make you less of a badass, covering up because people expect you too does.

Saying Quinn absolutely cannot dress skimpy is patronizing not only to her as a character but also to anyone who liked the skin before the changes.

-looks at star gaurdian line with some of their short skirts- also why did they change the hair color..... The brighter pink would look better i think with the more popping of the outfit.

The updates look better and fit Quinn more. Why would they make a skin concept on a champion that it doesn't fit for? They fixed it so the skin fit her better. Stop whining . .. at least your skin is getting significant work done on it. Karma Winter Wonderland didn't.

What i like is the first version of the skin but colors of the second except the hair (Pink hair of the first version would fit better). There. Perfection. Sincerely , A Quinn main.

No one complained that you could get a panty-shot from her with that posture. The complaints were simply that the outfit simply didn't fit the battle posture,it looked odd when she is standing like that.

"SHE'S A STRONG WOMAN THAT SHOULD BE FREE TO EXPRESS HER SEXUALITY WITHOUT SHAME AND RESTRAINMENTS"

"NO! SHE'S BEEN SEXUALLY EXPLOITED BY THE PATRIARCHY"

The battle goes on...

The entire skin doesn't make sense on quinn tbh. They're only doing it because she has a crossbow, but what we really need is Heartseeker IllaoiIllaoi
