No Riven lore update with the Noxus update?

I'd say I'm surprised but I just felt as though this was a valid possibility, not seeing Talon is a little odd but let's be real no one actually cares about Talon.

Hey man, going to copy my response from the main Noxus thread:

"We're actually going to have more time with Noxus throughout the year as we do more faction updates moving forward. While this update may have been a little smaller overall, we're aiming to increase the overall quantity of lore beats in 2018. Expect some similar focus (in this case, "how is Noxus run?" "what is the military like?" etc) but a wide range of champions as well."

I can't say right now if we're going to end up getting to Talon, Riven, or anyone else specifically (too early, honestly), but you won't have to wait a year for more lore beats like this.

Aka, we gonna get all the faction icons in the future. We still need icons for Noxus, Bilgewater, Mount Targon, Shadow Isles, Ionia, and Freljord to pop up on live servers...cause Ive seen those icon concepts months ago.

Probably because these 4 are the most relevant to Noxus' story, although maybe not Katarina .

Even if all Signs show the Faceless could be Lb, maybe Riot thought by adding Katarinas Update it could show that she could be the faceless too (remember the amsk seemed to ahve a female touch). A thing that could include that: Oram got gagged and in the disguise of the faceless by the faceless. He was before together with his man. Could have maybe be done with Lbs tricks. But could have be done by a skilled assassin to. And the principle of strength "guile" could be also the part of a skilled assassin. That Katarinas story is no not related to the others while the others are related, yea that katas story jsut ends so rush, is kinda suspicious.

Not gonna say the faceless is Kata, still high chance that Lb it is. What is definetly sure is that LB is a rival to Swain and wants him dead, but it is not sure if the faceless is this character. Cause Katarina as the Faceless with her abilitys to assinate could probably easy kill swain (or not, depends on the might of the demon adn if kata nows that swain has this power). But yea, the faceless hasn't shown attempts to overthrow Swain. Just that a pale woman (leblanc) exists whow ants that.So there is a little chance that the faceless isn't Leblanc.

Cassiopeia has been stuck with the same 4-5 lines of text as her origin-story since her first rework back in season 4. When is she finally going to get her biography expanded upon? It's been four seasons already, she didn't even get anything during the second Shurima event - the reason for that was her supposed link to Noxus. Well, we have the Noxus event coming up and there's still nothing for her.

Just touchups lore wise. It mentions old Swain's injured leg in his little narrative, and storywise it could use just a small touch up.

This time we just got the most central noxian champs Swain Darius are 2 of the 3 leaders of Noxus and Leblanc is most likely the third. And Katarina is one of the most iconic Noxus-champs in the game.

They actually clarified that they'll try to give us more smaller faction updates this year and that we'll revisit Noxus later on(new noxian champ after the Irelia VGU?)

I was hoping an update to her lore when i saw Noxus, also when they released the cinematic with Yasuo i expected Riven to be there, sadly she only shows up in my mind for now... Btw i just found something i didn't know, in the universe it says: "Once a leader in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven is an expatriate in a land she previously tried to conquer." I honestly didn't know she went to Ionia to live there, so i think she might not be alone, Yasuo(Maybe Taliyah it's with him?) comes to my mind, for some reason Irelia too and slightly Karma: "We have learned as much as we have suffered." "I have seen two paths and made another between." Maybe after Irelia's rework or before idk, they might update Ionia and Riven's lore together with Yasuo and Irelia, because like someone said, she's connected to Ionia summoner 14 I'm dying to see her in some cinematic, summoner 3 can't wait for it Riven ♥
