No Riven lore update with the Noxus update?
I'd say I'm surprised but I just felt as though this was a valid possibility, not seeing Talon is a little odd but let's be real no one actually cares about Talon.

Hey man, going to copy my response from the main Noxus thread:
"We're actually going to have more time with Noxus throughout the year as we do more faction updates moving forward. While this update may have been a little smaller overall, we're aiming to increase the overall quantity of lore beats in 2018. Expect some similar focus (in this case, "how is Noxus run?" "what is the military like?" etc) but a wide range of champions as well."
I can't say right now if we're going to end up getting to Talon, Riven, or anyone else specifically (too early, honestly), but you won't have to wait a year for more lore beats like this.

This time we just got the most central noxian champs
are 2 of the 3 leaders of Noxus and 
is most likely the third.
And 
is one of the most iconic Noxus-champs in the game.
They actually clarified that they'll try to give us more smaller faction updates this year and that we'll revisit Noxus later on(new noxian champ after the Irelia VGU?)
Also I feel like it would make more sense to udpate riven after we got an ionia update,because of how much she is connected to it.
I was hoping an update to her lore when i saw Noxus, also when they released the cinematic with Yasuo i expected Riven to be there, sadly she only shows up in my mind for now...
Btw i just found something i didn't know, in the universe it says: "Once a leader in the warhosts of Noxus, Riven is an expatriate in a land she previously tried to conquer."
I honestly didn't know she went to Ionia to live there, so i think she might not be alone, Yasuo(Maybe Taliyah it's with him?) comes to my mind, for some reason Irelia too and slightly Karma: "We have learned as much as we have suffered." "I have seen two paths and made another between."
Maybe after Irelia's rework or before idk, they might update Ionia and Riven's lore together with Yasuo and Irelia, because like someone said, she's connected to Ionia
I'm dying to see her in some cinematic,

i wanted Riven lore update as well but i didnt get my hopes up , i thought Swain will be the only one with update. but now we have to wait more for Riven
