Updating Splash Arts

Obviously Ezreal is going to eat up a lot of resources for the splash art team.

I'm curious where the team is planning to go after that. Sure, Kayle and Morgana both have a handful of skins, but that's probably a February 2019 release. Can't we squeeze a Caitlyn, Sivir or Ashe in there first?

I don't really see any of them as candidates for a minor VGU so... November maybe?

Ezreal actually won't eat up a lot of resources, he'll get his modern splashes tweaked a bit and his 4 older splashes re-done from scratch (PF, Nothhingham, Striker and Explorer)

I don't think they will change his design. They will add details and make a new model that will allow for more robust animations. Very little of this will need to be accounted for in his base spalsh. Unless they plan to redesign him top to bottom to make him gel more with current Piltover, but I don't see how this is necessary, Ez is an explorer he doesn't need to embody Piltover. If anything the details they should add should be from everywhere else (Ionian, Shuriman Freljordian accents on his jacket). Like how Taliyah wears Ionian clothes. As souvenirs to show us his explorer side

It's going to be what Aatrox VGU was supposed to be before they doubled down on it.

in the past, i want sivir, cait and ashe splashes to be updated as well but look at the bright side, they could receive an updated like ezreal in the future :) so why waste changing their splashes if you'll change it again in the future.

The only champs that i could think of that clearly needs a splash update is Gangplank because he received his full VGU already and half of his splash doesn't match up his ingame skin/outdated.

Caitlyn will likely not get a splash art update until she gets herself a VGU.

Though I doubt that they'll be able to squeeze someone between Ezreal and the angel sisters. Morgana and Kayle both have a lot of skins and we'll likely see even more VGUs next year than we have in this one.

Yeah I want Sivir , Ashe , Caitlyn , Annie , Gangplank , Veigar , Garen and probably many more
