Kindred's Strange Tale

Many people like me a strange fascination with Kindred Kindred. There is one question that pops up with me: Is kindred evil? Yes, they are simply the incarnation of death. Lambs grants swift death to those who accept their fate, and wolf chases down those who run from it. But this line from "Forest for the Trees" sets me off. Here it is:

“Again,” Wolf licked the last drop of the youth’s life from his canine jaws. “I want to chase again, little Lamb.”

“There are always more,” she whispered. “Until the day there is only Kindred.”

Are they searching to kill the entire population? Or are they simply fullfilling a duty? Were they created or summoned by someone to fullfill this duty? Also there is a suttle connection to Kindred and another Champion: Aphelios Aphelios. "There was once a pale man with dark hair...." Aphelios is pale. Pale like...the moon. And Alune has a blueish glow like...the hidden faces of Kindred. Kindred once have been Aphelios and Alune? Crazy, i know, but the more i thought about it, the more it made sense....

Riot said that the story of the pale man is a metaphor, not to be taken literally.

Kindred isn't evil, Kindred is a certainty, that after life, death follows. Many would regard it as evil, but Kindred, as the embodiment of the concept of Death, ain't evil, but an existence that fulfills a duty that has to be done

I fact that is interesting, not only the connection with Aphelios also the story, although Kindred is an ancient myth and Kindred has the Ying Yang as an inspiration, we cant deny that wolf wants the end of life, lamb wants you to live before you die and accept that.

Well, considering most standard religions and views on death go along the lines of "The world's gonna end one day", that sort of line is probably a call to those mythos.

Also, with regards to the video, when they talk about the pale man, they're referring to Death (the grim reaper in standard Western representation). They're basically referring to themselves, or their "origin".

I wouldn't say Kindred are evil. And about that line Kindred is death. They will continue to kill until they themselves are killed or no longer needed because everything will die in the end. And when everything dies, there is not need for death. Therefore, Kindred will die after the last bit of life in their world dies.

Death is not evil. Life would be miserable without it.
