...the idea of the next marksman being Kassadin's daughter doesn't make me hyped. I don't hate it. I don't dislike it. I'm just not hyped for it. The idea of another humanoid marksman that just uses a bow or a gun doesn't really intrigue me. Now of course there is no confirmation that she does use a bow or a gun let alone that she is actually Kassadin's daughter, but I think there is enough plausible evidence to believe so. My mind is also subject to change once she is actually revealed in a couple weeks or so.

Looking at it from a lore perspective, then yes, it is definitely exciting to get some more development for the Void and Icathia with the introduction of Kassadin's daughter, but thematically I would prefer to have another voidling monstrosity. It's been a while since we've had a champion from the Void, but with most of the recent champions being humanoid I feel like it would be refreshing to have another voidling monster in the roster and not just another corrupted human.

I really doubt she'll use a bow or gun. Bow would look too similar to Varus Gun wouldn't fit a shuriman/void champ And crossbow would likely be too similar to Vayne given that the playstyle of the next champ is supposed to be somewhat similar to the next champ.

I'd say it is most likely that the next champ will shoot with some kind of mutation.

Im kind of excited even tho I dont play adc at all but im curious to see what the champion will use for his weapons

riots "clues/teasers" can be really weird sometimes, i dont think it will be kassadins daughter and even if it is her i think there will be a dark twist and that she would maybe be completely transformed by void ( here it would be cool if there is a skin or move/ability/emote that partialy or fully reveals her former look ), And since it probably is something connected to void there is a lot of options, i would like to see an adc that looks magical-ish like imagine an adc with a crystal ball from which he throws magic ( ball can be like the essence of void in this case )

Keep in mind that it's just a possibility and not necessarily confirmed, you'll just have to wait and see item 3001

I can actually understand why you feel this way. For a lore-addict like myself, this is major hype.

But with a character who isn't even a named character at that and is only mentioned twice, once in a backstory rolled from a prior JoJ entry and once from a new champion's quote, I get where you are coming from. As the plot hook involving her is already 7 years old and she is not the most talked about character.

Just look at it this way after her, their is no other void-corrupted characters so it would be more likely the next one after her is a voidborne like Cho'Gath.
