Sivir's new Warrior Princess skin
As a fan of both Sivir and Xena... No. Hell no.
First of all I want to say that simply as a picture, maybe it belongs in a high school binder or on someone's refrigerator. Why does she look like an anime character? Why is there a thick black line around her that makes her pop out of the image like someone on a green screen? AND WHY ARE HER BOOBS SO OBVIOUSLY UNEVEN!? WHY RITO!?!? The intentions were there, the splashart needed a little rework. However I would've liked to see relatively the same picture, just redrawn (like crab urgot, and some others).
One reason for this is her original picture she's got scars on her face making her look like the fighter that she is and her weapon looks a little worn with some knicks in it and such. This new one her face is so clean and fair like she's innocent and 16 and she made that weapon out of paper mache and magic marker. And another thing: this is supposed to be WARRIOR PRINCESS Sivir. This is a fat step back from it, this new one looks absolutely nothing like the warrior princess. Her original kept similar armor and was so epic and I was getting ready to buy her, then they changed it and now the splashart looks absolutely nothing like Xena at all. The weapon will be different, obviously. Her armor looks like something out of a cheap halloween store. And lastly, the boobs. C'mon. How do you not see that? That is horribly horribly uneven and it just looks so trashy and poorly done, please try again T.T pleasssse!!!
I don't want to bash the artist, fan-art is fun, I just REALLY don't think this is the warrior princess Sivir we all were expecting. Maybe a version of it? but not THE one. I mean, close your eyes and think about sivir normally. Then think of what she would be like as a warrior princess. Does it look anything like this?
Please, if you think Riot should redo this splashart, let your voice be heard! "Redraw the original" means you like the first drawing, just a touchup (again like crab urgot got) would be nice. Or just keep the original like it was. Or something totally different, as long as it isn't this.
Please post other ideas or feedback of any kind!
