Why is Eve "More Human" in All of Her Updated Skins?

I'm not complaining or upset about this, legitimately just curious as for why none of the skins have her as the base skin's pale blue color. I can understand most of them being different, but at least safecracker out all of them... Why did they change her to be more human in that one? Evelynn

EDIT 1: Wow, lotta fluctuating upvotes and downvotes. Again, this is something that just seemed bit odd to me that I'm curious about, and not something I'm totally against. Regardless, hope we can keep generating a good convo about this.

EDIT 2: After seeing the in-game models, I'm wondering if Riot will actually change the skin-colors in the splashes of Tango and Safecracker, as they do seem to be more reflective of the base model: https://youtu.be/NMtmDo_e7js?t=1m14s

Mosy likely because the eve we see in the splashes is her disguised form. I can't come up for a reason why she didn't disguise her self to a normal skin human in her base splash, but that's just my guess

As for why her new skins are much more humanlike, it's probably to retain the original feel of the skins, which were all very human-esque.

Any skins released going forward will probably have most of the monster/demon side that you crave.

I get where you're coming from, but honestly the worst offender is Shadow, she doesn't look like Evelynn anymore, at least the others could be somewhat recognizable. Whilst Shadow looks spawned from a one night stand between Shadow Kayn and Li Ming. I'm gonna miss the BDSM Implications and motif a lot. (Unless Riot listens to constructive criticism and changes it a bit.) But could we just get side tracked for a second to talk about Masquerade Evelynn's new hair. Regarding firecracker specifically, I'd say it was because of these necessities:

  • make the splash more as updated as the others
  • maintain the same feeling of the original firecracker splash (that means, as few alteration to the overall picture as possible)
  • still convey the new theme of evelynn as a seductress

Basically making her sexier wasn't simply wanted to sell more, it's needed because it's part of what evelynn is going to be. You could discuss about such sexualisation for champions like leona, ashe, sejuani, basically any actual warrior-woman, or mage-woman. But not for evelynn. At some point they could have realised that such theme wouldn't be conveyed good enough as long as evelynn kept the blue-gray skin tone. If this was the reasoning, I agree with it.
