What's with Tristana getting her third high quality in a row in such a relatively short time frame?

When there are still others hurting bad for skins. Since Dec. 2015, Tristana has gotten two 1350 skins and a legendary skins. The two 1350 skins aren't even a year apart, and the legendary skin (her second one might I add) wasn't even a year before the first of the two 1350 skins.

Yorick STILL doesn't have a new skin and there's champions like Kled who are still sitting on their release skin (Yorick also fits into this category, he's from a time when champs got two release skins). Then there's others like Viktor who hasn't gotten a skin in almost four years.

People complain about Ahri getting skin after skin but even she's outpaced by Tristana who now has NINE skins, four of which are 1350 or higher (read: about half of them) and three of those 1350+ skins came out in the span of about 1.6 years (which is a shorter time frame than it sounds).

Yorick was released just about 1 week, 1 month, and 6 years ago.
He's gotten zero skins since then.

His rework was 9/8/2016 and since that time, despite being promised a new skin with his rework for years, he still has nothing even teased for a new fucking skin.

At this point, the new Yorick skin had better be a fucking ultimate one, and free for those who have been waiting 5+ years for a goddamn skin. I mean FFS, there are champions released since his rework, or who already got multiple in that time frame, who are already getting new skins.

He didn't get any skins because they didn't want more work since he was slated for a VGU since ages ago.

They just didn't do it which caused the delay.

And honestly, how many concepts would fit him now? And how many are possible to do? I imagine he isn't much easier compared to zyra in terms of making skins and she´s the worst one currently.

Zac is probably one of the hardest ones in terms of making anything good, i mean, anything subpar and it becomes little more than a recolor right?

Zyra is the worst because she has a ton of textures as far as i know, herself, and then all of her plants+ ulti version of plants.

In addition to each of her Q and E and the seeds from her passive and W. It apparently takes a ton of work to prevent bugs with her.

I figure yorick is somewhat similar because he himself, the maiden, then the ghouls is also a lot.

I feel you. Quinn's been out for over four years now and still has nothing above 975 RP. Let's not even mention Yorick who's gone so long without any skins. I think we can rest easy with this one though considering Riot promised he'd definitely be getting a skin some time soon, along with others like Viktor and Illaoi.

Well if they made a legendary skin for her they could just replace her hunchback pose with something better considering 1820s usually rework most if not all of a champion's animations with new ones

The Valentines day skin looked like Ass because it made no sense for Quinn. She's a fine looking champion. Woad and Corsair Quinn look great. It just about picking themes.

What do you mean "made no sense for Quinn?" It only looks bad at all because Quinn's in-game model is contorted is the weirdest way and it's the only skin that doesn't do a good job of hiding it because her clothes are less bulky and cover a bit less than usual.

It's almost like quite a few champions look weird when you look at them in a way they're not supposed to be seen in.

Quinn looks fine when you look at her from the angle you're supposed to see her from, or an angle it's even possible to see her from in game.

The only issue with the skin it's that it's ugly, inconsistent and makes no sense for her. The colours are bad. The textures are average. The design is boring and is way too overloaded. It's just a crappy skin that came from the skin team trying to change the Heartseekers skins to 'classy' to make them more appealing. Instead they made them 'shit'.

Her body is a little contorted in her idle, but a lot champions are at times.

"Ugly" is subjective so whatever there, but "inconsistent" and "makes no sense" are what get me. What about that skin make it either of those things? Because it's not her base skin? Because it's less bulky and a bit more revealing than her other skins? Is variety somehow a bad thing now?

Also how can a design be both boring and overloaded?

The skin theme makes little theme for Quinn. None of her quotes really match well with the theme, her general posture and everything just make the whole thing feel like an off experience.

As for inconsistent, the skins team set out to make a more cutesy, sexy skin for Quinn but they really dropped the ball. The skin went through a few iterations, but the skin started out quite sexualized. IT had to be pulled back and had a very patch up/shit job done. As a result it ended up being this inconsistent mess of being a "Sexy-but-not-too-sexy" sexy-skin. The skins team were at odds with eachother over what the skin should be in the end, but tbh that's always what happens with KhateyKhaos's Skin team. I've come to notice despite what a sweet person she is, the skins team she leads makes bad skins compared to the others. They should of decided in the end to either make it sexualized or just scrap it. Because the end result fights with itself.

A design can be boring and overloaded very easily. It's not like the statement is an oxymoron. You can be a lot of detail into a designed pattern but that doesn't mean it will interesting. The design has a lot of little flairs, and details and accessories etc. But it still looks pretty fucking boring when you whip it out in a norms.

I'm always surprised no one ever mentions J4 in these things. I guess he got the fanatic skin 3 years ago, but it has been ages since he has gotten a high quality skin.

For that matter, why is Hecarim of all champions getting another skin??

This guy literally got Elderwood and then World Breaker within the last two years. A full year hasn't even passed since he got World Breaker, whereas like a third of the roster hasn't gotten one in that time.

Not to mention Illaoi, Cass, Heimer, Yorick, Shen, Viktor, etc., or Taliyah, ASol, and Kled still needing their second skin (Kled in particular, Sir Kled isn't spectacular).

This has always struck a nerve with me, the same champions always seem to be on the table for skins and just the same the same champions are always passed over.

Yeah on a kinda unrelated note I think it would've been cool to get an Omega Squad skin for a support instead, like maybe Lulu who is also a yordle? Trist has plenty already. Why did we need two new ADC skins at once? Twitch was far more deserving than Trist.

Riot Jump Active: Tristana dashes to the target location, getting looked at by Riot. Whenever Tristana gets a skin, Riot Jump's cooldown is reset.

Wat.

Syndra has gotten a tonne of new skins since release. She sells so many skins. Zed sells skins like hot-cakes. Sona is currently a holder of a tonne of high quality skins including an ultimate.

A lot of the others you listed currently have a tonne of skins already, like Sivir, Tryn and Xin. Which is probably why they don't get skins as often.

The rest are pretty much true.

As a clown lover, I've got a bone to pick.

Shaco is played a fair bit, so popularity isn't an issue, and he was reworked. Wild Card Shaco is a great 750 RP skin, but I'm still holding out for a Legendary.

I don't even play Shaco but a really interesting new Shaco skin is needed. I feel like most of his skins are just him being a slightly different type of clown. They're cool skins, but he needs something really interesting.

What would you suggest?

Honestly, I would just be happy with Surprise Party Shaco at this rate.

But I do think him being a clown, and a sinister one at that, is integral to his character. So any skin that improves on his quirky yet macabre, twisted and evil personality would be great. Such as laughing lightheartedly when using Q, but gradually becoming more distorted, demonic and guttural over its duration.

I'd take Demon or Soulstealer Shaco any day. Go for IT killer clown vibes. Some sort of nightmare worthy skin, with creepy interactions between Annie and Yordles.

That's hardly a real argument. A couple champs have been waiting for 4+ years for just ONE skin. You're telling me that it takes more than a few years to take time and develop a new skin idea (design)?

No, anybody who is dedicated to one of those champs would rather wait longer if it means they get a high quality skin

I guarantee Riot already has ideas for those champs, it just takes time. If Riot were to half-ass a skin for one of those champs then there would be a huge uproar

All of those champs have had reworks either on a small scale or a large scale.

Champs that are planned for a rework also don't normally get skins

No point in making a skin if you're going to change it in the future, and some people might feel ripped off if they don't like it when it's changed (cough Mafia Graves). Now that all of those champs got their reworks, Riot probably started coming up with ideas of skins for them. I'm pretty sure I've read somewhere that Riot has guaranteed a Cass skin within a year

Tyrant is pretty damn great considering how old it is. Between the altered walking animation and the absolutely gorgeous Ravenous Flock model, I think it's word the price.
