Is no one gonna talk about this?

i mean it's aatrox, of course not, but how come his lore went from super specific battle history and the specification of 5 darkins, to this: "One of the ancient darkin, Aatrox was once a peerless swordmaster who reveled in the bloody chaos of the battlefield. Trapped within his own blade by the magic of his foes, he waited out the millennia for a suitable host to wield him - this mortal warrior was corrupted and transformed by the living weapon, and Aatrox was reborn. Though tales of the darkin have now passed into legend, he remembers only too well the destruction of his race, and wreaks his vengeance one sword blow at a time."

i mean it just seems bland, couldn't they just keep it and then change it when they want to make aatrox a different champion?

I mean this is literally the short little snippet they put before every champion's long lore. He's slated for a full gameplay update in which he will become a different champion, and presumably he will be receiving newer, and better lore. I don't see the point in being outraged over what is clearly a work in progress.

It's just setting up for his actual story. It's not supposed to be super detailed.

Its just the short lore for the ingame client. We don't actually know if the universe lore(which would be the canon lore) will remain the same or not(after all the short version and the current version don't really contradict each other)
