Sol, Draven, and Jhin probably in that order.

The first two are obvious. But Jhin is so egotistical he sees everyone around him as objects to be murdered for his art, which in itself is just an extension of his ego. In truth he's just a petty thug, but he fails to see himself as anything but an artistic genius. And if he has anything brought to shatter that view of his own genius he excuses it in a way to make him appear more important than he is. If people don't like getting murdered? They are too dull to understand his genius. People are sent to capture him? Well all great artists are not understood in their time and he of course is a great artist.

I agree with most of this, but Jhin isn't a petty thug. He actually puts real thought into his "art," to the point where a normal man saw the corpse of someone he had killed, and the way the person was cut up was so horrific that the guy who saw it went mad on the spot (He considers that a positive review). Even though he's undoubtedly a dangerous psychopath and one of the most evil characters I've ever read about, he is still an "artist" who conducts himself with style. And like I said, he considers someone going completely mad at seeing his "art" a good thing.

That still is a petty thug, to me. He's a smart petty thug, but he still has no plan or goals beyond continuing his deplorable actions.

Though thug may not be the best term. But he is undoubtedly a lowlife serial killer too weak to stop being driven by his own base urges. That he can dress it up pretending to himself that makes it better than it is doesn't really matter. It's just more excuses in his deranged mind.

But I digress. With how he is now and that his current condition grew less from personal ego, more for a lust of freedom which was acquired through power, and the fact he actually showed a tinge of regret for having to finish the process (because I'm going to assume that at the point it was at, if he didn't continue, he'd die with everyone else), I would say his egotistical phrasing developed from him needing to validate his reason for being the way he is.

Draven doesn't need to validate his "awesomeness" to himself. He just wants others to know how great of a Draven that he thinks he is.

Aurelion Sol is at an existential level that the only reason he talks to us the way he does is because we're a bunch of random cats, dogs, raccoons, etc. that can audibly communicate in a language he understands. (I can equate us to insects, honestly. It's the same deal)

So, yeah. If it's not for the self-imposed ego, I think Xerath would be a rather depressed man.

man so many people still giving Riven mains grief when 1) Yasous and Zeds are the new "Rivens" and 2) the reason you main Riven is not to be better than everyone else but rather to be better than yourself, Riven is quite possible the highest skill cap champ in the game and as such always able to be improved upon

are these supposed to be higher skill cap champions? not really sure I agree but whatev, I probably also should of clarified I more meant highest mechanical skill cap, when decision making is added in Lee also gets up there, not sure where Shen fits into all that tho...

Shen: He's as deadpan as he can get. He's not egotistical at any degree because he manage to nullify his own emotions. He's pretty much the epitome of True Neutral.

Nidalee: Perhaps, but far from Draven-level.

Akali: Not egotistical, but more angsty.

Mordekaiser: Definitely

Orianna: Can a robot be egotistical? It depends.

Ryze: He can be egotistical, but not for the wrong reasons.

Only reason I pick on Riven mains is I know one who is exactly as I describe :) The Yasuo mains are definitely that way as well. Haven't yet encountered a Zed main that acts like that though. Actually haven't yet encountered a Zed main at all...

In one of my most recent games, I got mid, and a guy asked me for mid. I let him have it, as I was fine with playing ADC, the role he got. Turns out he was a Yasuo main. He flamed our entire team all game, and after winning, called us all ungrateful b******, as if he had been completely responsible for the win, despite having fed hard for the first 10 minutes. So, yea, Yasuo mains definitely.

Let's be real Riven is not that hard. The only "hard" part about her is animation canceling which any diamond+ player can get the hang of in just a couple games. Meanwhile you have LCS level players screwing up time and time again on champions like Azir Taliyah Gangplank

Draven is so into Draven that he got an announcer skin so he can talk about himself more AND a Draven Draven skin because Draven. Sol might think he's better than everybody, but only Draven thinks his total superiority is something everyone in the universe understands to be fact. Let me reiterate that again, Sol sees you, think he's better but understands you might foolishly disagree, Draven sees you and he just expects you to admire him because Draven.

I mean, Jesus Christ, he thinks that the game is all about him, nearly every single line of his is dedicated to how great he is, his April Fools' costume is just wearing a giant bobblehead of himself, and unlike Sol, he doesn't really have a reason for having such a huge ego. He's not a star forger, he's just an executioner who makes an spectacle out of his job.
