Morde Is The Iron Lich, Not the Iron Revenant

Revenants are just.. ghosts that mess with people, or undead that have been risen somehow.

He's a ruddy lich, he was a king who bound his soul too an object that serves as a phylactery, in this case his Armor.

I made a similar post too this in game balance because i pitched minor rework (on the scale of Talon/lux in their respective class updates) that made him a bit more lich-y but i will say this, Revenant or Lich, it makes no sense for him not to be way tankier

////EDIT

THE LICH OF IRON IS A WAY MORE METAL NAME BTW

Actually his soul is bound to his bones, not the armor.

The thing is that while Morde is technically a Lich,he doesn't really look or feel like one. The typical lich is an undead mage,so it is much more closer to Karthus.I mean Lich is technically the correct term for Mordekaiser,but you wouldn't point at someon like Leona and say "she is a mage" just because she can use magic(or if we go about it in DND terms,then she'd be more closer to a Warlock as she gets her powers from a powerful being).

And revenants in modern fantasy(and sometimes myths,remember that myths didn't have clear definitions for every being) are most commonly depicted as undeads who came back to life for a very specific purpose(most commonly vengeance).Often they are just as smart as they were originally and sometimes they can't even be killed for good as they will always return,which does fit Morde to some extend(Morde came back to continue his conquest and he always returns).
