Is english the canon language for all champs?
Title, or would French be Fiora primary language, Japanese for yasuo, or maybe some weird stuff like Spanish for zyra.

Runeterra has it's own languages unique to it. They just all speak the same language so we can understand them. Also, I have a theory that most different languages were ditched in Runeterra so that the different species and nations can understand each other for trade reasons.
For all we know it isn't even English they are speaking. But some weird language that we perceive as our dominant language in each international server.
So basically "common" in D&D lingo.
It seems like not, they arent talking a Language of Planet Earth. This can be assumed with the lore of Wolf and Lamb... Ionian champions for example talk in Ionian language and "common language"
I picture them all speaking Khoekhoe.
By the way, what language does Fiora speak in the French version of the game?
