Why do champs with literally 7 lines for attacking/moving have unused voice over?

Title, when the warwick line of him getting banned got leaked everyone thought it was his new visual update. A ritoer then said its just unfiltered voice over from a unused line. Thing that bothered me is why do characters that old have unused voice over that could be easily put in their movement so we dont get repeat vo, like nunu can say "Lets make tracks!" 2-3 times in a row if you get unlucky enough. Sorry if i dont make sense this just made me upset and confused

Can't really think of how you'd use that Warwick line to begin with. Wouldn't really suit movement or attacking.

The thing is that it doesn't fit his character.

The quote sounds like he is sad about his current form,that he misses being human,but nothing in the lore implies that this is the case,in fact it looks more like he enjoys his current form.

Not necessarily. You can add a small laugh or chuckle at the end of the quote to achieve the same effect. Similarly of how Annie laughs after her joke.

It would likely still confuse more people since it would easily be able to tell that these lines don't fit together.

Anyway WW is getting his rework at the end of the year/early in the next one,so there isn't really much point in doing changes to his Voice over now.

I don't listen to the voice lines. Many of the champions are just way too annoying to listen to even a little bit.

I use the japanese Riven, Cait, And fiora voices, But most of the jap voice actors are so good to listen to.

I know SirChez, who I'm pretty sure riot featured as "Ask an X Main", has several custom skins like The Flash Singed. I kinda of want to change to JP voices for some champions as well, but it is pretty spooky to do so due to the chance of a false positive or something.

Probably because they're old as hell and at the time it just didn't seem right to have certain lines on those champions. I don't even know why this is an issue when we know 100% that the majority of these champions that are outdated are due for full VGUs.

At this point, I'd be willing to pay just to have some champions dialogues expanded. Especially ones that are supposed to have serious interaction with eachother in lore like Kayle and Morgana . I also think it would be great to have TahmKench get a new taunt for every new champion that comes out after him.
