skarners default skins artwork is pitiful. it looks like it was sketched up in 25 minutes by a 6 year old in his kindergarden art class

He's on the high priority VGU list so it wouldn't make any sense to make a splash for him and then redo it again it's just counterproductive.
I want to meet the child protege that was able to draw a massive scorpion with good proportions and detail in 25 minutes.
Honestly, Skarner's splash art just looks like unpolished concept art for his splash. Its not terrible, but it could be improved.
