Black Rose Questions

Hello again, you guys may have noticed that I mostly talk about LeBlanc and the Black Rose because this organization is my favorite part of Noxus lore. I have a few questions about it and I'd like to know what you guys think.

What kind of magic does the Black Rose really possess? We usually have this instant assumption that ''Oh, this type of group is an evil one therefore they most likely have Black Magic.'' So far, we have only seen Tricks, Illusions, Deception etc. but does that really mean it is Black Magic? If is against people who have Black Magic like and or who are plain evil in general like then why is she investigating and the Black Rose out of all those champions who actually uses Black Magic? Did something really happen between Vayne and LeBlanc? Did Vayne encounter the first LeBlanc?

What does it take to be part of the Black Rose? Do you have to be a mage? an assassin?

How does one be identified as a Black Rose member? Do they wear like a badge of some sort? Do they have their own crest or banner?

Does the Black Rose have its own fortress? or is it the whole Noxus?

I also think it would be interesting if we get a champion that has been a member of the Black Rose but as a traitor and thus the champion uses his/her knowledge of the Black Rose's power against the other members.

What do you guys think about the Black Rose in general? Any other additions? And I'm sorry if it might not make sense but I'm just glad and happy to be able to talk about the Black Rose again :)

Black magic is a very, very large spectrum that covers a copious amount of possible fields. Generally speaking, tricks, illusions and deception are not particularly black magic. (They can be, but not really in the forms we've been seeing so far.) If I had to put a label on the Black Roses brand of magic it'd be deception, but most certainly not black magic. (Also, for reference, Syndra does not use Black Magic, it's generally presumed that she uses sheer magic energy!)

If I had to guess, I'd say they'd have to be a semi hybrid of the two, mixing deception and espionage with the ability to kill. The best thing I can imagine is the Mesmer from Guild Wars 2 if you are familiar with it. However, I don't think they'd take in anyone off the street or any common killer or spy, you'd have to display a large capacity for what the Black Rose is attempting to do.

I don't think they do, that's the point, especially since their fall from power. I think the common person knew them as a name, not as a group or person/people while they were in power. An organization dedicated to espionage and manipulation wouldn't want to be identified.

According to her lore the Black Rose makes its home in the catacombs of Noxus among plenty of other cults, covens, and secret societies. Whether or not this has changed since they emerged from secrecy is unknown, although I don't think they would.

(Keep in mind this is all my personal interpretation, none of this except for the Black Rose base is canon!)

I don't really think that you could describe the Black Rose with only one kind of magic. Consider this, the Black Rose is first and foremost a secret society, as such i think that they would use anything they can get their hands on. So, to answer your question, the Black Rose doesn't use any particular magic, but more likely a collection of any kind of magic they can use to their cause, be it illusion, Hemomancy, Necromancy or anything else.

I have the same question... why she is enemy of Warwick ? He has no relation with dark magics at all.

the black rose does not have any particular magic type as it is really just a group of mage spy/assassins, but deception is obviously the best because of what they are doing (probably)
