Level Emotes are themed around Regions?

I've been looking through the S@20 post on the new PBE cycle, and I've noticed that the level-specific emotes & icon borders seem to be themed after various regions of Runeterra.

Level 40 & 125 - Tubes, air-filter looking thingies and green liquid; definitely Zaun themed, not sure why there are two of these though Level 50 - Clearly Hextech/Piltover themed due to the blue square & the cog Level 75 - This isn't too clear, but I'd assume it's supposed to be themed after Mount Targon, since there are circular patterns (similar to particle effects seen on Taric & item 3401 ) on the upper part of the emote, but imo the colour wouldn't really fit; it might be Noxian due to the colour and the shape which reminds me of an axe Level 100 - Not sure about this one, but if I had to guess it'd be Demacian, due to the white & gold colouring and the slight sword shape on the top Level 150 - Without a doubt, themed around the Shadow Isles: the tattered cloth, the swirling patterns and the blue & purple colouring Level 175 - Obviously Shuriman: gold & bronze colours, the bird symbol at the bottom and the swirling sand around

I really like the little details that were put into these ;)

75 I think is noxus because it kinda resembles the axe of noxus

100 is definitely demacian wings

125 is a bit strange and to me on first impression looks like zaun but there's already zaun in 40.

also I guess screw you mount targon and bilgewater and the void

Keep in mind that there is no level cap, the icons shown don't have to be all we get. They can introduce more later.

And I think 75 is Mount Targon, the circular designs on top are really prominent in Mount Targon designs.

125 is definitely Zaun, no doubt. The only solution for 40 I can think of is that it represents Bandle City...

I thought of Bandle City too, but I'd expect something more natural, with bushes or roots, rustic elements. While many Yordles are smart inventors, the theme of rustic natural little town was used in one of the more recent images of BC.

Maybe level 40 is supposed to be Bandle City? I definitely need these Piltover and Zaun emotes, they look awesome.

I agree with you, level 40 has the colors of the omega squad. Bandle city is also hidden in the middle of the forest thus the earthly colors it has. I might be wrong but i definetively felt the vibe of Bandle City in the level 40 icon

The level system has no cap, they can easily add more icons later on when people start coming close to level 175.

I guess we will get every region as an icon, but it will take time.

I dislike that they look cartoonish, I was hoping for some more "realistic" looking emotes.

My assumption would be. Basic, Piltover, Noxus, Demacia, Zaun, Shadow Isles, Shurima.

It's also very possible these aren't all of the level emotes as we're lacking an Ionia one.

Don't know if 40 can be considered being basic though. Why would they add tubes to it then?

If it is supposed to be basic, they shouldn't have given it any outstanding features. My guess right now would be Bandle City.

Tubes are pretty autonomous really. The whole thing is like Hextechy crests, and the hextech system has like tubes on it at times.

My assumption with it being just a basic is because unlike the others it's only 10 levels after 30, instead of being every 25 levels.

So it might stand as an early crest given to players after reaching level 30 so you're not stuck with the level 30 one till you reach level 50. That way it gives players a feeling of progression.

I'm not sure bandle city even exists in the new lore anymore. Has it been mentioned since the retcon?

It has, in the researcher's diary. When talking about the vastayans and how they are very different than the yordles.

I kind of don't link these just for the general art style they have, the problem with a lot of the emotes actually, but man that was a cool nod you picked up on.

I'm pretty sure 125 is Noxus and not Zaun.

Actually, forget that. The first one is definitely Noxus while 125 is Zaun.

it has way too much similarities with zaun's crest to not be zaun themed.
