Changing the skin art that people pay RP for is not fair. I wish i could get a refund.

I know this may not be a big deal to most people. When i purchased Safari Caitlyn I did it because i like how shes sitting on a log holding a teacup. I find it very unique and i simply had to have it. They changed the art and now shes just in a safari outfit. I would not have spent RP on this. They also changed cottontail teemo and i also would not have paid for this.

Riot should allow us to get refunds on skins that they change. How is that fair that i spent RP/Money on skins that they changed that i would not have paid for the way they look now.

you didnt spend Rp on splash art, you spent it on a in game cosmetic

What are you talking about!? You can change your champion splash arts at will! The loading splashes requires a bit more work, but is perfectly doable.

I also reverted the King of Clubs Mordekaiser splash art (not that I will ever buy the skin myself):

...it got changed because some religious softie took too many in the feels by the cross, so it got changed. It was all the reason I needed to go back to the "illegal" version shown above.

Zyra, Fiora, Kayle, Sivir, DJ Sona, Vayne, Shyvana, Irelia and likely more, which I can't remember off-hand, have recieved either a new splash art or a reversion.

VO mods, custom login screens, custom skins, mapmods...I do all of the above. And all of it verified within the game regulations.

With that out of the way, I wanna whine too about how PAX Sivir got ruined with her rework. Fair enough, her model was clunky and her kit outdated, but her PAX skin actually looked better pre-rework. It used to look like something from Tron: Legacy, with sharp contrasts and a fancy look...now it just looks like something from the original Tron movie from 1982. It looks, in a word, "dull", like most other things in this game with the current graphics style. Yeah, I want the old SR back too. And the old Fiora. And lots of items.

Also, Sivir's old dance was better: It made no sense, but still looked cool - the current one just makes no sense... And Sivir's current champion selection emote is so cringy, it makes me wanna throw stuff at my speakers! So that's next on the mod list to make go away (reversion, preferably).

So if you want a nude Ahri splash art, I can make that happen. No, I haven't done that (I DO have a life), though one did ask for a NSFW Vi splash once, which I still got a copy of.

That's the thing though, Riot isnt obliged to take it back in the first place. We all have to agree to that under the Terms and Conditions.

Edit: Judging from Deitrix's comment I don't think he realizes this either.

Just be happy they didn't trash-bin the in-game model of a skin you paid for and then flip you the bird when you ask for a refund. They did that to me when the god-awful Fiora rework went live. It was so poorly received that they actually put up a back-patting post mentioning how much hate they got over it (and making excuses for themselves... and not changing it back), but they still wouldn't give me a refund. Nor will they give you a refund. They will just change what you paid for and shrug as they count your money.

Riot doesn't care, they got your money and they're keeping it.

You buy skins for the splash you get to see for 1 minute while the game loads? That's very odd. I buy skins based on the in game model and the particle effects that I'm going to play with for 20-50 minutes.

And what is with all the downvotes? Listen people, i didnt mean to hurt anyones fragile buttocks with my comments. I appreciate all of the artwork which is why i pay money for skins in the first place. I'm merely trying to say that i wish there was an option to get an rp refund for when they pull the switcheroo on skins that i or anyone else really liked. I understand that there is no option for that and i am not expecting my RP back. Something needs to be said tho. So i hope all the downvoters have your menstrual items securely in place for tonight. And I wish that cottontail teemo will quietly prance on your windowsills tonight, lay some eggs so that they're fresh and they still have his fluidly film on them and throw them at your faces while you sleep.

You can write a support ticket. They refund champs after a rework. So they might refund for this too

Solution: Go to Google. Image Search - Safari Caitlyn Original Splash Art. Download. Put on your devices as backgrounds etc. Problem solved.

If you paid for the splash art as you said, well..there it is.
